It also becomes more common when Democrat politicians and media figures regularly call Trump a Nazi and say he’s literally destroying our democracy.

My take is that the Wild West mentality in our country of handling any grievance by whipping out a gun and shooting someone and everyone in range has gotten way too prevalent. The kids who grew up on school shootings are now adults and it's leaked into every facet of our society.
