I remember Route 70 from HAC. He can correct me if I am wrong but I believe at one time he said he was honestly a professing Christian at the time he was a student at HAC. The atheism came later in his life. If that is the case, he wasn't lying at HAC at the time but has since had a change of direction/belief.

First, he doesn't need you to answer for him.

True.

Second, (oh my) how does he have a "change in direction/belief"?

Wait, I thought I don't need to answer for him?

Correct.  I don't care what you have to say.

Am I married to you? ;)

LOL!  No doubt you hear that all the time.

Yep. Which drives me to investigate the deeper questions in life, such as...

You are the one with the difficulties in understanding, so I'll help you out.

On 5 occasions, I dealt with child molesters.

Of course, the police were involved. Some spent jail time, some I referred to police.

Only one came to full repentance. However, the entire church took action in all of these cases. The victims were treated as victims and given spiritual help and protection. Only 2 of the molesters (1 convicted; 1 not yet) are in churches today. One is doing quite well in a different church than the original molestation, but their world has become smaller (tightened restrictions) than the victim.

One of my children was a target (among many others). You cannot work in a sizable church and never expect to have to deal with this from time-to-time.

The self-righteous Route_70 can stuff it. His approach is actually, immoral. He wants to get glory from a tragic situation from people he never met. What good comes from that?

Okay, then address my question:  Whom did you out?  What was his/her name?  What is the name of the church?  How did you out them?  Did you catch them red-handed?  Did you personally report to the police?

Please be so kind as to offer verifiable proof.  Otherwise, according to Ransom, ?anonymous allegations = lies.?

I wasn't answering your question. I have no obligation to answer your silly interruption.

Troll fail! I know FSSL's identity, hence the allegations aren't anonymous.

Are you an idiot as well as a petulant liar?  FSSL's allegations are anonymous, regardless of FSSL's identity.

Christian ethics and so-called "objective" morality is no good if they are not obeyed.  In my case, my "subjective" morality was enough to motivate me to do the right thing.

Petulant petulant petulant. Rootin-tootin's mommy must have taught him a new word.

Hyuk hyuk, OK, you know what I meant better than I do. *snort of derision*

The only puzzle piece that your are missing, really, is that your logical fallacies are what has made you a target of derision, and not your action.

1. You claimed to be a believer, at the time, and were actively under the influence of the teaching of believers.
This negates your whole "in spite of believers this atheist did the right thing" point.

2. It isn't your action that warrants distrust, but rather your attempt to use a single situation as proof of any universal truth.

3. I've been in your shoes. In fact, with many IFB, I'm in them now.
I'm waiting for the end of a trial, before I tell the story.
The situation I experienced proves nothing, except that the people directly involved are evil.

4. Your constant nagging insistence that you be admired smacks of a "psycological disorder" akin to the pride that Christianity teaches against.

Try shutting your hole, and concentrating on doing the next right thing.

Prejudice and stupidity go hand-in-hand.
A line that you are regressing furiously towards, for sure.
