in this case the beliefs of the messenger are the message.... ..and it;s a belief system americans who fought to keep this country free from tyranny rejected out of hand from the start.........

a belief system similar to that of the amish - who enjoy riding their buggies around taking advantage of all the freedoms and benefits living in this country offers them - but refusing to fight for it themselves and help pay for that freedom.....

.... i said a long time ago you appeared to be the type who would welcome oppression and persecution of christians in america.... . ..and i restate that opinion now.... ... anti christian democrats have clearly stated what their intentions are if they get back in power in this country.. ...

and you.. as a professing christian .. will not be immune from their abuse no matter how much you appeared to support their causes by laying down for them now.... ..and i think you know this already...

NObody is asking you to defend Trump...he's become pretty much indefensible at this point. EVERYONE knows he's a crooked politician, just as crooked as those he claims he's trying to root out.

I'm not ashamed. Did you miss the part in school where the vote is private? There's a reason for the dividers in the polling booth.

My parents didn't even tell each other who they voted for. As I have shared before, if you asked my mother who she voted for her answer would be "none of your damned business" and I see no reason to think that she was wrong in her position on the matter.

Okay. Does that make his quotes that I shared null? I am particularly interested in the one regarding the fruits of the Spirit.

BTW commenting on the ugly behavior within politics is not the same as being political. A. W. Tozer is a good example of this. I have no idea what he thought about government policies or programs. Yet somehow I do know what his views were on the leavening impact that politics can have on the church. If DeGroat has policy positions, I am not aware of them, nor do I see how they would invalidate his concerns about believer's bad behavior in the political arena.

As I have maintained all along, politics has a way of quenching our Spiritual gifts, which is detrimental to the mission of the church.
