Yep a lot of truth. Trump is double ahead of Jeb. You bes believe these people are scared.

I'm in a different shop nearly everyday. Rubbing shoulders with the working man and everyone I talk to is pulling for Trump.

Always entertaining to hear some good conspiracies. :) There is a  lot of good stuff there....and just enough wacky stuff too.

So whoever this guy is, I love how he say's when Trump's elected he will do this to Obama and do that to Hillary, blah blah blah.  "All on the first day". It came out today in the paper that he has been good friends with the Clintons for years and just weeks before he announced his candidacy he had a lengthy discussion with Bill and Bill encouraged him.  LOL. Wonder why.

He also says everyone is afraid of Trump because he is" beholden to no one"; well except if they might be Democrats in his state of NY, or Chicago or Nevada, or DC or MA or ....Yeah, he is such a stud! Just ask him.  :)

Btw...I hate that term "the working man". It's usually used in terms of class warfare and labor politics.  I don't know of very many men (or women) no matter how much money they make don't work.  A CEO is a working man. An artist is a working man. Any one who does an honest day's work IMO is a "working man" or women. I don't work in a "shop" but I am in a senior management position who works my butt off a minimum of 60-70 hours a week in the office with no overtime pay. Am I not a working man? Every good worker has value.

Conspiracy? I heard no such thing.

Your're the one that's talking about a conspiracy, with ur Trump talked to Bill the other day comment.

Yes I would agree with your definition of a working man.

From the Early Card Debate:

"But Fiorina’s biggest line of the night effectively dispatched the issue of Donald Trump early on. “I didn't get a phone call from Bill Clinton before I jumped in the race. Did any of you get a phone call from Bill Clinton? I didn't,” she said in response to a question about the whether the reality TV star and businessman was crowding her out. “Maybe it's because I hadn't given money to the foundation or donated to his wife's Senate campaign. Here's the thing they would ask Donald Trump in all seriousness. He is the party's frontrunner right now, and good for him. I think he's tapped into an anger that people feel. They're sick of politics as usual. You know, whatever your issue, your cause, the festering problem you hoped would resolved, the political class has failed you. That's just a fact and that's what Donald Trump taps into. I would also just say this. Since he has changed his mind on amnesty, on health care and on abortion, I would just ask what are the principles by which he will govern?”

Bam!  :)

Trump is kicking butt and taking names so far in this 'debate'!
And, is not going away after tonight, much to the chagrin of the so called wizards of smart in the Republiican Partay!

So, TB, how is it you can support a candidate who was in favor of chopping a baby to pieces as it was entering the world?

Where have I said I support Trump?
If you would read my posts about him, you'd know I have specifically stated that I am not voting for him!
And, that reminds me, Uganda does not execute homosexuals!  ;)

Odd...since you are cheerleading him so much.

And, that reminds me, Uganda does not execute homosexuals!  ;)

And I see you are still an ass.

Here is my quote from the Trump thread...I think my first post about Trump:

I'm not against flip-flopping if the person honestly changes his or her mind about something.  The flip flopping I hate is when the politician obviously says one thing when it's politically advantageous, and and then another thing when the political winds change, and one or both are lies.

Regardless, it's hard to say Trump has flip flopped on at least one thing - trade and economics.  Here's a 25 year old video of Trump saying some of the same things he's saying now.

Tarheel Baptist:
I do not think Trump to be one who believes in the same conservative 'principles of governing' as I do. I would not vote for him to be...and do not think he will be the Republican Presidential Candidate.

Having said that, I love how he is speaking his mind and not backing down to the PC pressure of the media or political pundits. I think his popularity is a statement not so much for him as it is a statement against the same old same old, go along to get along politics practiced by many leaders in the Republican Party.

Ha!  Tell that to the decided switch of the Frank Luntz focus group afterwards. His support crashed...for all of the reasons some have been saying here for the last few days.  :)

Personally, I thought Cruz topped them all.  I'd love to see a Cruz/Carson ticket, or Cruz/Fiorina.

I hope you are right, JJ but the establishment conventional wisdom is not going to hold in this climate.
After the debate, I went to Cruz website and gave a donation.

Trump doesn't have my vote but Fox has lost me. I'm getting the feeling that Roger and Murdoch put a hit demand in for Trump in the debate.

Megan Kelly was a joke. I can't believe she asked such a dumb question. The man made Joan Rivers and Leeza Gibbons the winners of Celebrity apprentice. How can anyone say he's part of the fake war on women.

Wallace even called Trump a liar. He didn't even follow-up on Christy about pretty much all the Casinos going bankrupt in NJ.

Trump was right. If he would have let those businesses drain him dry....MANY more people would have lost their jobs.

Fox doesn't care about the truth anymore. The debate was a hit job on Trump.

The only person more arrogant than Donald Trump was Megyn Kelly.  To me it was obvious Fox News had him in their cross hairs.  My number one favorite is Ted Cruz but just like most other Americans my disgust with politicians on both sides of the aisle makes me want to vote for Donald Trump just to spite the professional politicians.

JustJohn may be right about Trump being "Lonesome Rhodes" but so far Trump isn't fading away.  I believe people are so disillusioned with the both parties that he might even be successful with a third party run.  I absolutely understand his refusal to give up his trump card of running third party (it scares the Republican establishment to death) and being a submissive good little boy considering how the news media and political pundits have attacked him.

The "war on women" that Kelly threw at Trump sounded more like Candy Crowley.

Here is Breitbart's assessment of the debate.

I think you're right, Trump isn't going anywhere in the short term, and it seems as if, Luntz focus group aside, his poll numbers are steady, if not increased.
It is a reaction to the Wizards of Smart in the Rebublican and media establishment. Again, I am not a fan of Trump, but I understand why he is the phenomenon that he is...

I watched a video of Trump talking about the girl "on her knees".  It was a joke.  The Apprentice team said she had gotten down on her knees for something, and he said, "Must have been a pretty picture".  Now, lots of people might think that's a bad thing, but taken out of context the way Megan Kelley did it, it sounded a lot worse.

Its so obvious that Fox is trying to get Tump out of the Republican primary.

Murdoch as much tipped his hand the other day whne talking about Trump. News has no place for such nonsense. If they want Trump not to run as an independent..... Then they should stop pushing him away.

Yes, it is obvious.  And Megan Kelley's question was inappropriate.  However, Trump could have answered it better than he did.  He should have taken a tip from the way Gingrich answered a similar question:
