Jesus will bring us to Jesus. The more appropriate question is, "Which candidate do you feel would govern in a way most compatible with the teachings of Jesus?"

Instead of trying to answer that question, you've chosen to cheer the person who is probably the worst possible answer to that question. Even more so, the things you are cheerleading are the types of things that are antithetical to the teachings of Jesus.

in your opinion, Which candidate do you feel would govern in a way most compatible with the teachings of Jesus?

From what I know about them, I believe Kasich tries to govern more in accordance with his Christian faith than his political ideology.

So tell me: how does dropping nukes on others then taking their resources fit with the whole "love your enemy" concept?

If someone was kicking ur door in and tiring to kill ur family, what would be ur line of action?

I'd try to stop them in defense of others. As much as possible, I'd limit it to non-lethal means. That would be the appropriate response.

Of course, there is the crazy right wing option whereby you hear that someone heard that someone else said they might think about harming you so you go and blow their house up and kill all their children. Oh yeah...and you kill their neighbor's children and cause such a mess that their neighbor's neighbor's children also get killed in the confusion, then you can blame them for starting it because you heard somewhere that someone said something. And as an added bonus, you take their TV and their new couch as winner's dibs.

Blathering idiot!!!

Did you have someone in mind when you wrote this???? Or did you just pull this scenario out of your rectal cavity?

So tell me again why I should cheerlead those kinds of actions?

I don't see it that way, I disagree.

Talk to an Iranian that had their democratically elected leader ousted and replaced with our puppet the Shah. Of course you won't see it that way but hey so what, it wasn't your country that got steam rolled by those peace loving Americans.

So you snark off that I refuse to answer the question in spite of the fact that I have answered the same question multiple times. After showing this, your reply is that you didn't read those many answers.

You personally? No idea.

Our society? Probably. Instead of understanding all the "freedom" and  stuff we have as blessing, we might be better off if we can see a little curse in it as well. Our society is so busy pursuing pleasure, piling up trinkets, and otherwise looking to be entertained that we fail to slow down and recognize our profound need for a savior. We desired creation over the Creator, and He said, "Fine, you can have it." (See also: Romans 1)

You seem to think Americans are nothing more than stuck up bigots.  Christians living in this country have every right to exercise their rights as citizens under the constitution and the idea that doing so is unchristian is nonsense.  When five lawyers with black robes issue a decree that is lawless what are Christians like Kim Davis expected to do?  The Apostle Paul exercised his rights as a Roman citizen to stop his torture and imprisonment (Acts 22:22-29).  Why should Americans not fight for the freedom given to them by blood shed on the battlefield which is being taken away at an alarming rate?

If we are killed for being Christians then so be it but being good citizens require us to defend the rights of our fellow citizens that are protected by our laws and constitution.  If the good people of Germany had done that the holocaust may have never happened.

Yet, you believe gay couples should not have that same right.

biscuit1953 said:

First, that group of people determine the law based on the Constitution. In essence, they didn't issue a "decree that is lawless".

Second, Kim Davis could have taken a stand by resigning her position instead of purposeful discrimination.

Jesus pretty much taught a "Do not kill" philosophy and didn't justify war, specifically in preemptive fashion as being the exception.

This means Christians should be defending the allowing of gay people to marry so they can have the same familial privileges as do heterosexual couples. Why are you against defending their rights?
