I confess that I live in somewhat of a "bubble" regarding popular culture and the Christian version of it. Because I don't listen to the contemporary religious radio stations in my area, I had not heard any buzz about the film "Son of God" before yesterday.
Are you planning to go and watch it?
Will your church be using the Warren-created curriculum for teaching that accompanies the film?
I found the attached blog to be a very interesting read. In it, the author asserts that the film's producers are not the Christian leaders in Hollywood that they claim to be, but are actually new-age pagans mixing Christian themes with mysticism.
