The Israeli attack on Iran.

Is that why you so quickly changed the subject, since your talking point wasn't true?
:-) no

I’m hearing she said what she said what I posted, from a few news sources. Minus what you posted. So I really don’t know who to believe. Therefore I didn’t know how to respond to you. I honestly do not know who to believe.

I just listened to Tuckers interview with Ted Cruz and Ted doesn’t give a good argument for taking Iran down. In my opinion.

If we put boots on the ground we will not know for at least 10 years if we were lied to. But at that point our kids died over there. My son wants to join the Marines when he graduates. I had a conversation with him today about how our government lied to us about Iraq the the reality of what happened.

Interesting times for sure.

With respect to the context of Gabbard's remarks, take it from the horse's mouth.

As to why the media might wish to selectively edit Gabbard's statement to suggest a particular meaning that she did not intend, might they have a rather well-understood reason to spin it that way? Whom she works for, for example?

Ithese news sources say stuff like is she going to take back what she said? Kind of stuff.

Like you said they are interpreting it one way. Is it bc of who she works for? I’d say no, at this point. Only bc I’m not hearing it from Fox News or CNN type people it’s people like TYT, Tucker and Dave Smith. Are they against the war? Absolutely! I don’t know these people, obviously.

I do trust them more than the legacy media.

And again, for me I look at our governments track record. And I’m sure you have to understand that point?

I just listened to Tuckers interview with Ted Cruz and Ted doesn’t give a good argument for taking Iran down. In my opinion.
Ted Cruz cited a verse, "those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse Israel will be cursed." Tucker Carlson asked Ted where is this verse in the Bible and Ted said he didn't know.

"Right-wing influencer Tucker Carlson roasted Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) for basing his foreign policy on a Bible verse without knowing the context for it. . . . 'It's in Genesis, but so you're quoting a Bible phrase,' Carlson said. 'You don't have context for it, and you don't know where in the Bible it is, but that's like your theology?'"

- I'm confused: Tucker Carlson explodes over Ted Cruz's biblical ignorance

Christian Zionists often quote a verse "I will bless them that bless Israel" but there is no such verse in the Bible. According to the Jewish newspaper Forward, Genesis 12:3 does not refer to modern Israel.

"Jewish people tend to interpret the blessing, which appears more than once in the Bible, the way Carlson said he did: as referring to the Jewish people. After all, the secular nation-state of Israel did not exist until 1948 . . . Ironically, the verse Cruz referenced doesn’t mention Israel at all. The direct subject of the blessing is you — literally, “I will bless those who bless you.” When God says these words to Abraham in Genesis, the future patriarch is still living with his parents."

Tucker did a great job holding Ted to the fire. Problem is no politician will probably go on Tu ker again. At least the ones he disagrees with

And Tucker was right to push the question, do you believe it was referring to the Israel government?

Reporter: Tucker Carlson in the Ted Cruz interview it seems like this issue on whether or not the United States should strike is kind of dividing your supporters.

Trump: “No. My supporters are for me. My supporters are make America great again. My supporters don’t want to see Iran have a nuclear weapon. But its very simple, if they think its okay for Iran to have a nuclear weapon, then they should oppose me...I don’t want to fight either. I’m not looking for a fight but if its a choice between fighting and them having a nuclear weapon, you have to do what you have to do. The bottom line is they can’t have a nuclear weapon. We are going to have to make a choice because its possible that you’re going to have to fight for them not to have nuclear. I did ask Tucker, “Well are you okay with nuclear weapons being in the hands of Iran?” He sort of didn’t like that question. “

Anyone who says Donald Trump is a neocon is simply being dishonest. He has tried his best to broker a deal with Iran and is going the last mile to make it happen. Trump quit bombing the Houthis after they made a deal not to attack any more American ships. But they never stopped attacking Israel and even with the disgusting attack on the biggest hospital in Southern Israel, President Trump still refuses to attack Iran because he puts America first. I believe he is trying to put the fear of God in Iran to make a deal and only as a last resort will he make the decision to take out the two main nuclear facilities that can only be destroyed with bunker buster bombs that only the United States has.

Matt Gaetz and his guest are disingenuous in painting a picture that Iran is no different than any other country we don’t like. There have been thousands and thousands of missiles and bombing attacks against the tiny nation of Israel over the last few years all supplied by the regime in Iran! Iran not only has vowed to destroy the tiny nation no bigger than New Jersey but also wants to do the same to the United States. Iran is not like China or any other country. It is a fanatical Muslim country with leaders that would use nuclear weapons without hesitation. It is an existential threat to Israel who is surrounded by terrorists on every side that some call the wall of fire and would gladly sneak a nuclear bomb into the United States if they had access to it. I thank God Donald Trump is President at a time like this and I do pray for him along with the other leaders of our country.

There have been 20,000 rocket attacks on Israel from the Gaza Strip since Israel pulled out in 2005. What fool would not want to take back control of such a hellhole?
Because no Jew would ever sacrifice another for political expediency...

Are you comparing the slaughter of Jewish children under Herod with Israel taking back the Gaza Strip from Hamas?

Hamas in the Bible means "violence."
Gen 6:11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence (Heb. chamas).
Psa 7:16
His mischief returns upon his own head, and on his own skull his violence (Heb. chamas) descends.
Eze 7:11 Violence (Heb. chamas) has grown up into a rod of wickedness. None of them shall remain, nor their abundance, nor their wealth; neither shall there be preeminence among them.
Hab 1:3 Why do you make me see iniquity, and why do you idly look at wrong? Destruction and violence (Heb. chamas) are before me; strife and contention arise.

Radical Islam is filled with pure hatred for the Jewish people. It is more perverted than Michael Jackson standing up with one white glove on his hand singing "beat it."

Are you comparing the slaughter of Jewish children under Herod with Israel taking back the Gaza Strip from Hamas?
No. I'm commenting on the astonishment to the suggestion that Oct. 7 might not have been an intelligence failure.

Is it really supporting Israel to cheer Netanyahu on when the overwhelming majority of Israelis want the razing of Gaza to stop and Netanyahu prosecuted?

Is there really no indication there of the motivation for Netanyahu's recent actions against Iran?

For anyone who thinks the MAGA movement is disintegrating and wringing their hands that Donald Trump is going to turn into George Bush with getting us into endless wars you are wrong in my opinion. This is about the best summary of where we are at right now that I have listened to. If you wish to oppose Trump's path forward you have that right as an American. The door is still open for a peaceful resolution though. Start at the 1:50 mark.

The problem is, it will not be his children or grandchildren fighting this war.
I have an issue with that! If his grandson or his youngest son were going to be on the front lines like our sons…….

The problem is we live in a fallen world where there will always be wars. If your son or grandson doesn't wish to serve in the military then they should stay out. Only the return of Jesus Christ to personally setup His millennial kingdom will put an end to wars. In the meantime nations have the right to defend themselves from those who vow their destruction. Donald Trump isn't perfect just as no man is but he is forced to make decisions none of us want to make. You seem to set perfection as a standard. Its easy to be an armchair quarterback but you don't sit in the chair where life and death decisions must be made. Pray that God will give the President and all our leaders wisdom on how to deal with a crisis.

Iran has done nothing to us. If we are attacking them to continue to have world dominance? Then so be it. This is how the world and mankind has always operated. But don’t sit there and lie to the American people.

Again, Americas tack record for regime change isn’t all that great if you’ve been keeping up the last oh I don’t know 50 years.

The only way we will know if this is a good decision to get involved or not is in 10 years or so.

I don’t know any one who will say that Iraq was a good thing for America.
