The new format

I am trying to have an open mind but I currently hate this new FFF format.  I'm sure its because I became so use to the old one.  What do others think?  Are there some new advantages that I'm missing?
 
I'm not much of a fan of it either. Perhaps it was changed because of structural issues with the old format.

The white is too bright, have to click more links to get to unread messages and read karma, difficulty in following the conversation quotes. I'm sure I will adjust but for now, I am not wowed by the appearance and functionality appears to be about a step or two more than before. I haven't tried the search functions or anything yet and perhaps Admin isn't done.

I will give it some time.

The difficulty in following conversation quotes is major.
 
I have not seen the Karma change per post anymore.  It used to show up in the bottom left of a post.  You could read who said what and how many Karma points a particular post received.  That is just gone.  Even when I go to "Who changed my Karma," it does not show me which post received the Standing Ovation.

Look folks, I NEED my Standing Ovations!
 
I will get used to it but all I can think to say is:

I really didn't like it on my phone.  We need to give the admin a little time to work out the kinks.  In the past he has done a great job.

Seriously... thanks for the input. I am trying to bring the forum up to today's standards. It will require usability adjustments and your continued input.

The only thing that has been whitewashed is the FFF.  :)
 
I like color so the white background is killing me

Did you use the Mona Lisa (I think) icon in your reply? Copy the specific URL for that picture. In your reply on the forum, clicking on the third icon from the left on the second row will bring up the IMG tags. Paste the URL in between the tags. I just did a test pattern from Google images using their URL:

The 'old' FFF is up and working fine!  We can revolt and go back!

if you click on "who changd my karma" .. to the right of each karma description there should be a blue link under "where" ... that says...."in topic"..... if you click that it takes you directly to the post that was karma-ed .......

But it doesn't show which post received what karma.  It just shows a post.  Also, i do not see the karma record on general posts.
 
Yes. I can fix those. I have to finish a video for our church and upgrade 2 other websites tomorrow. I hope I can address the issues or this forum by Wednesday
