The 'piling on' of Mark Driscoll!

My question remains: why didn't this happen 14 years ago when this garbage first surfaced?

I'm sorry he and his family are undergoing those things.

...but this jumped out at me. The guy says, 'He's been preaching 50 times a year. That's a lot.' ...implying that preaching 50x a year is stressful.

I literally lol... Seriously?

I didn't take the time to read the article , but off what Tom said...50 times a year, really? Poor over worked preacher! Let's see ...52 weeks in a year, minus 2 for time away, times 5 times a week, okay I see why Driscoll is worn out! Not!

I thought this said much about Morris, whoever he is.....

Morris joked about how he invited both Driscoll and North Carolina megachurch pastor Steven Furtick to the conference, both of whom “got bad media this year.” Furtick, who was already under fire for buying a $1.6 million house, came under the spotlight for “spontaneous baptisms” that turned out to be not nearly so spontaneous. Driscoll and Furtick smiled and shook hands.

This corruption is rampant.  Why, just the other day I was reading about a bunch of home church attendees who all went out and bought $1.6 million houses with all the donations they gave each other.

Write a book about the latest greatest thing in Christendom (house churches maybe?) and spend the ridiculous profits however you see fit.

I was referencing Furtick's deceptive 'spontaneous baptism scam'.
His house was, according to the ministry, purchased by proceeds from book sales.
I would think kitchen table churches would drop the million and add a zero to the figure...$1.60.
