Apparently the clip cuts off before Omar realizes her mistake and corrects it. Still, it betrays a fundamental lack of familiarity with basic 20th-century history to see (presumably) "World War II" on the teleprompter and let your mouth run ahead of your brain before you realize what it means.
I'm reminded of this one from a few years back:

meanwhile... that idiot in the red vest standing behind her.... (whose own family fled to japan to hide out during world war 2)... has been one of those trying to suppress and expunge parts of american history that make the japanese feel uncomfortable....... including this incident - that began in the hours following the japanese attack on pearl harbor... (an actual armed insurrection by a group of japanese americans led by a japanese pilot who crashed on niihau.).... and was a major factor in the decisions made by the american government to place some...(but not all)... japanese americans in internet camps.....
