Here is a start of the list of things that were once preached against in my lifetime.
Shorts of any type on guys and pants or shorts on women
Going to the movies (drive ins were doubly bad)
Some types of eye wear
Dice in games or any other use.
Betting or gambling of any type.
Raffles
All forms of playing cards regardless of game (novelty games like Uno, Flinch, Rook, Touring, Pit and Old Maid were ok).
Dungeons & Dragons
Riding your bike on Sunday
Shopping on Sunday (except for the pharmacy)
Any modern music
Dances
High heels (men or women)
Any type of jewerly on guys (wedding ring & dog tags were exempt)
Thin ties
Pierced ears
Any sports on Sunday (in person or on TV)
Pepsi when Michael Jackson and was the spokesperson and Coke when Elton John was doing commercials.
Here is a partial list of the things that were commonly considered wrong when I was a kid.
