There was a day when we needed something we went to the Department Store. Amazon and other "online stores" came along and people realized they could save time and/or money by buying online. So now we have stores that are closing and the real estate developers are struggling. How is that not the free market dictating what is happening?

Are there any unfair tax advantages or other items?

They collect sales tax for 45 states. So what other items were you thinking?

Trump is willing to sacrifice the 401Ks and retirement plans of those who are investing in Amazon simply because he wants to get WAPO off his back, publishing anti-Trump articles. It's about making WAPO an arm of his propaganda machine (as he attacks other media outlets for the same reason).
Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos owns the Washington Post.
This is personal and about media control. Ya know, like the flotilla- (or shall we say, "caravan-") based countries.![]()
