At this point, we can now see the shape of things to come, if Trump's death grip on the Republican Party is not released. He is already trashing DeSantis, Youngkin and any other Republican who might challenge him for the 2024 presidential nomination. In the 2024 primaries, Trump will endorse and promote a bunch of bozos and stumblebums whose only qualification is that they believe Trump is God and who agree with the recovering-junkie pillow guy that the 2020 election was stolen. Get ready for a massive Demon-cratic victory at the polls in 2024, thanks to Trump.

Trump does not have a death grip on the party. He fought the deep state. He's the pioneer of political reform. I think Owens is correct. He took and is taking so much heat for us, the people, who love liberty and justice, and now he feels abandoned and betrayed. He's lashing out in anger.
The midterms did as well as they did for Republicans because of Trump. Your insistance that Trump was the reason for the Red Mirage is rooted in your closet Left-wing tendencies. And, frankly, I don't think you or the other closet lib, Ransom, would come out as well as he did in the same circumstances. Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad Ecc 7:7.
