As a matter of deeply held principle on his part, "Israel First" Senator Ted Cruz is not going to agree to any peace settlement with Iran, unless his handler Bibi approves it. And Bibi is not likely to approve any peace settlement any time soon. Bibi's priorities are different from those of Trump, who wants to claim victory in Iran so he can move on to other targets like Cuba. Bibi wants to keep pounding on Iran for the long term. So, we're stuck.
