And are you surprised?Once again, our president publicly celebrates the death of a political enemy. It’s unnecessary, classless and disgusting.

I agree but I really wish that President Trump would be just a little more "Presidential" and stop feeding the "rage machine!"I'd like to see the Venn diagram of a) people who condemn this statement of Trump's, and b) people who have approved of or celebrated the murder of Charlie Kirk.

Point taken.
Still wish he wasn’t so petty.
I’ll be glad when he’s off the forefront of our political stage…
I wish I could also see what the reaction would have been if Biden had come out and said he was glad one of his Republican political rivals was dead. I bet a few more people on this forum would have crawled out of their holes and been activated into meltdown mode.I'd like to see the Venn diagram of a) people who condemn this statement of Trump's, and b) people who have approved of or celebrated the murder of Charlie Kirk.
Yeah but the stock markets are up.Once again, our president publicly celebrates the death of a political enemy. It’s unnecessary, classless and disgusting.

It wasn't politics. It was an attempted coup. I'm only sorry Comey, Hillary, and Barry didn't go with him.Once again, our president publicly celebrates the death of a political enemy. It’s unnecessary, classless and disgusting.

I’m sure my reaction would have been the same.I wish I could also see what the reaction would have been if Biden had come out and said he was glad one of his Republican political rivals was dead. Again, kudos for your honesty. It wasn't politics. It was an attempted coup. I'm only sorry Comey, Hillary, and Barry didn't go with him.
I would like someone who is not Donald Trump to be president who had the very same policies, philosophy, and (mostly) the same practices. I believe that you can do so while being diplomatic, unifying, and presidential. If there steps forward someone with a modicum of humility and self awareness who also takes similar stands, he or she would be a huge success.

I would like to think so, but I also think the well has been poisoned enough that "So-and-so is just like Trump" is going to go a long way to work against such a candidate.
I've seen it happen up here, where our Conservative leader, Pierre Polievre, has been branded "like Trump." And The Donald isn't even a direct political concern in Canada. It's just enough to be seen as superficially resembling him.
I doubt that stigma is going to go away in a hurry.
There is no unity with Leftists. They must be defeated or surrendered to. Have you forgotten the Summer of 2020?unifying
