Looks like Republicans who don't condone Trump's hate and sexual proclivities are being called out for criticizing his BEHAVIOR.

Which god do Evangelicals politically serve? Seems like the line is being drawn.

Got this in the mail today.

So you got an anonymous flyer in the mail, and you're assuming it's from "Evangelicals"? Are you sure you're quite well?
Nope. Other side showed it was paid for by Club for Growth.

Didn't say it was sent BY Evangelicals, only that they are putting a line in the sand that Evangelical morality (holding one's nose and voting for Trump) is no longer considered to be conservative enough. Their expectation is that one must bend the knee to Trump. "Which god will Evangelicals serve?" was meant to be rhetorical in nature, showing that the right wing will eventually eat Evangelical freedom of religious expression too.

I agree with everything Mark Walker said yet I'm still voting for Trump. I'm much harder and expect a lot more from Republicans than I do Democrats. Christians should be speaking out about things Trump should stop doing and things he should change. If I had the power I would have taken his phone away and would have made the Air Force Officer that carries the football carry his phone as well. Every text should have been screened and approved by WH communication dept. Generally speaking I agree with his policies but don't agree with his morality and his arrogance.

Democrats are very clear what they stand for, it's in their national party platform and you can see their policies playing out in the state of California and major cities all over the nation.

I will just jump to the end and save everyone a lot of time:

So you are a RINO.

;)

Please list the immoral behaviors of Trump that would preclude him from being President...

Democrats can’t figure out what a woman is, which bathroom to use, when a baby is a human being, or if we need to fund police. A little in-house fighting pales in comparison to those, and many other political issues.

The founding fathers we very smart in framing the requirement to become president. There are no moral or ethical requirements. Not only can a felon run for president but he can still be serving his time in prision. Just over a century ago, Eugene V. Debs served as the Socialist party's nominee in 1920 while he was imprisoned for speaking out against World War I and convicted under the Sedition Act.

Presidential Requirements
  • Be a natural-born citizen of the United States
  • Be at least 35 years old
  • Have been a resident of the United States for 14 years
They left all other criteria up to the electorate. They also made it very difficult to remove a sitting president. It takes the Vice Prisident and half of the presidents cabinet to delcare him unfit to serve.

Clinton and Kennedy were very immoral men, even in the White House, and most Democrats list them amoung the best presidents ever.

I don't know of any that preclude him from being president. Do you know of any that preclude Mr. Biden, Ms. Harris et al? Seems to be a lot of hand wringing over their "evil". So much so that it has been used to minimize anything Mr. Trump has done.

Seems a bit of conflating going on there sub. The issue often raised with Trump is his personal ethics, whereas the issues with Biden et al relate to policies that are immoral which influence and impact an entire nation (abortion, restroom confusion, etc).

The question was, and the OP is about personal immorality.

If somehow it was proved President Biden accepted or was part of his son accepting money from a foreign goverment then I would have a concern, otherwise he's just being a Democrat doing what democrats do. I guess the people will decide.

Do you think we will see any of this group again in 2028?

Nikki Haley
Ron DeSantis
Chris Christie
Mike Pence
Tim Scott
Vivek Ramaswamy

I was simply addressing your comments to FSSL. So we've established that his personal ethics and immorality is no more disqualifying than any other candidate on either side of the aisle. The comments regarding politics have little to do with personal ethics, so much as how they will govern. So the "handwringing over their evil" is concern for corporate and national evil, otherwise you are conflating categories.

I don't think I know of one POTUS that has lived without any kind of immoral thoughts (Carter admitted to having immoral thoughts), or actions.

"Their evil" involves killing of the unborn, killing of the elderly, child trafficking, sleeping their way up to gain office, so much more

I live in North Carolina and these fliers are bogus and so are their ads on TV. The CLUB for Growth is a joke.

We can start with their stance on killing babies and go from there.
