mine is my real middle name.... aleshanee.... given to me by my navajo grandmother who was given that naming honor because i was born in her house on the navajo reservation.... . ..i;ve used this same name on the fff for over 20 years now.... the name i started with was an old nickname - but i only used it for a couple of weeks before changing to this....

I always read that as Alesha nee.

it gets pronounced many different ways now days coz other cultures have adopted it........ my grandmother pronounced it the old school navajo way with the "e"s separated... ..... ah-ley-shah-nah-eh ... .. and thats how i say it......... in navajo it translates as a sentence.... "she plays all the time" .. i write aleshanee in on documents requiring a middle name.... but i rarely ever vocalize it because it;s not the name i go by in public.....
