Verses Freebirds ignore or misunderstand when reading their Bibles.

So are you just indiscriminately picking out verses, like this one or are you going to exegete each one and point out the errors of the freebird movement?. How are you picking these? Is your kid pulling them out of the Bible and you run with it? Are just blindly opening the Scriptures and just pointing to a passage? What is it?
Enquiring minds want to know!

Every time I stop to engage your Freebird friends in discussion of the posted text(s) they disappear quicker than Casper.  Seems they're more interested in backslappin' than real discussion.

What in Hyles are you talking about ? What bizarro world do you live in? Who's running from whom?

Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself (put aside everything he trusts in), and take up his cross (risking his own safety), and follow me (in reaching the 'least of these').

Sounds like more than just Freebirds have issues in dealing with refugees. ;)

One more thing to consider: Jesus Himself was a refugee as an infant.

Everytime I stop to engage your freebird friends they abandon the conversation in favor of snarky condescending one-liners, much like you.  Long on bluster, short on Biblical support for their opinion.

Just in case there are people reading this thread and not the other one where I did call you punk let's state the reason for you rightly being labeled a punk.  I told another poster that I appreciated her contribution to the forum and said "God bless you sister", to which you made a claim that I have a crush on her.  Either you're a punk, or you're in 6th grade.

I know this is a side track, and may need its own thread, but Jesus was, at some point after His birth, a refugee.

Let's compare Him to Syrian Refugees in 2015.

Jesus was fleeing forced post-partum  abortion.
He was the actual target, of the political persecution from Herod.
They were given asylum of some kind in Egypt.
They intended to stay alive, and were a danger to no one, nor did anyone have any reason to believe they would be at any later time.
They left as soon as they were safe from that persecution.
