Any idea why this website always appears scrambled when I’m using wifi, but when on 5G, it’s not scrambled and appears correct? It seems to only happen with this website.

I've never seen the site scrambled--and I'm only ever on Wi-Fi when I visit it--so I can't replicate the problem, and thus also can't suggest a solution.

Though I'm generally on a PC rather than a phone.

I'm curious what you mean by "scrambled." Can you post a screenshot and tell me what browser you're on?

OK. Your "scramble" is a loss of style information. Modern Web design separates content from appearance, and the code governing the look of the site is stored in one or more external style sheets.

What appears to be happening is that the site is giving you the Web content, but not the CSS style sheets. They're both hosted by the same server, so I can't offer an opinion why you'd be receiving one but not the other. Dealing with the back end of things is above my pay grade. Perhaps the server is timing out over your Wi-Fi connection; could be a network issue in your virtual neighbourhood. Are you finding the site slow overall? See if it solves itself over the next little while.

If I’m on 5G, it’s not slow at all. If I’m on WiFi, it’s pretty much always timing out. We just switched internet providers and this only started with the new provider on this website but none of the others. Hopefully it will resolve itself. Thanks anyway.

Is the Wi-Fi your own equipment or did it come from the provider? Are you behind a firewall that affects speed? Is your 5G and whatever your Wi-Fi from the same provider? Safari... So, that's iPhone. I know little of Mac operating systems. I don't think it's an ad blocker because I use Duck Duck Go on my Android device. My Wi-Fi is slower than my 5G and sometimes I have to switch my Wi-Fi off and surf on 5G even though they are from the same provider.

We actually recently switched internet providers to match our cell phone provider, basically bundling everything in one bill with TV, internet and cell phones. Bonus is we also save about $75 a month by doing that. But yes, Safari is the default browser for iPhones. It doesn’t seem to impact any websites except this one.

If this site works fine from some networks (5G, your previous ISP), but not from others (your present ISP), then unfortunately, my semi-trained guess is that it's a client-side problem, not one that lies with us. It sounds like your router has difficulty finding a path from your wall to this site, such that it times out before the site is fully loaded.

It's possible I'm wrong.

I think you’re probably correct about it being a timing issue. One day when I’m sitting at a coffee shop with wifi, I’ll try logging on and see how it works from a different wifi connection and that’ll probably give a final verdict.
