I thought our country was going to become a Christian nation again and we was going to have a great revival, I guess I will have to wait until 2028 before that happens.

well it;s certainly not quiet in the duck and brufus houses .. is it.....:rolleyes: .. ......it;s 3 oclock in the morning here where i live.... .it;s supposed to be quiet.... . 🤨........

but what is there to talk about where this election is concerned anyway?........ ... people like me told you guys months ago this was going to happen..... ...

i also told you that while i did not want to see it happen - that when and if it did i would be one of the people on the forum least affected by it.. ....i already live in one of the bluest of blue states - where many of the socialist type programs and policies the new socialist democrats want to enforce on all of you have already been in place for decades........

but this is far from over..... ..by the way...... you commented on how quiet it was here a little over 20 minutes after brufus made his declaration of personal stupidy.... ..don;t you think you should allow at least a day to go by before you declare those on the other side mum by reason of defeat?....:sneaky:.....

Hey, I voted straight Republican other than for Florida governor. I voted Democrat for that office (but sadly lost)! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

i know we disagree on this point coz we have discussed it before... ... but when has this country ever been a christian nation?.......... christians within this nation have done some very good things..... .. . but last night a majority of them... christians included.... allowed people to get elected that want to turn this country into a muslim nation..... ..

the pendulum is not moving in the right direction for making this nation christian.... and democrats are working right now to force a wedge into the works so that the pendulum jams at far left and never moves again... ......

i told you this before... ... it doesn;t matter how you ..one single person... voted when your constant negative - down in the mouth rhetoric convinces 10 or even 20 other undecided voters to go the other way and vote against you...... you claim you voted republican but for the last 2 years you have been marching along with the democrat band and singing their songs......... so what does it matter?.... ....

and what makes you think there is going to be a next time?......... you haven;t been paying attention to these socialist democrats that just won elections at all.. have you?....... ...they have been telling you for a couple of years what they were planning to to do if they ever got into power... ....and now they have got it........... ...good luck with that.....

You know, friend, my memory is really bad, lol. I don’t remember the details when we discussed this in the past. My stance hasn’t changed though for over 25 years. We were founded under the principles of a Judeo-Christian ethic under natural law, but I don’t think I ever said we were a Christian nation and if I did then I misspoke, or i may have been jesting or using satire like I was in this post above. I’m not a Christian nationalist and I don’t think that the Law or any form of human government is ever is going to bring revival. That’s not the function of government and never was.

The rest of what you said I absolutely agree with 100%, as our country is definitely not moving in the right direction in a lot of ways, including general morality, civility, and communism/socialism, to name a few.

None of that means that I think that we ought not to try to make genuine progress in our civic square through the electing of representatives. It just seems like that’s a losing battle lately, and last night is the most recent prima facie evidence.

you are probably right.. ...what i remember most about all that was some very heated discussions and being the only voice on my side of it..... .. but i don;t rmember you specifically being a voice on the other side.... ..

i agree that the country was founded on judeo-christian ethics... and their faith was the force that drove them..... ... but what took over shortly after that as a driving force was greed... especially when it came to the push westward.... ...but that;s a whole other topic for another time.... ..

much of what happened last night had a religous force driving it too.... ..... but it was a different religion.... and one that believes it is commanded to wipe out christianity and put all believers in Christ to the sword.. ...... .i have had muslims i knew in college actually tell me that.... of course they claimed they didn;t want to do that themselves.. . but they also didn;t indicate they would stand against it .. or step in to stop it - if some other muslim started doing it.....they also said that according to their religion lying to an infidel was a righteous thing and they were commanded to do that too if it furthered their cause..... ..

and american voters just put people like that in power.... ...

well... i think in time you will be very thankful for your republican governor... .. and also thankful your state remained one of the few red states left in the country............

but i think you should probably get prepared for an influx of texans .... the same texans who welcomed all those californians running from gavin newsome into texas - will want to find a place to run from them when they realize it was those same california ex-pats that just turned texas blue.... ....

no.... what;s weird is how all this time you have been preaching to us as if revival is what we were supposed to be voting for... and nothing else...... . and now you seem to be admitting in your smug little way that a revival can;t be voted in or brought about through an election ......

what we should all be voting for in every election, is that kind of country we want to live in... .... a free nation where we can make our own decisions or a leftist run dictatorship where others make our decisions for us.... .. revival can happen under either kind of goverment.... but only one kind will allow you to have that revival without persecuting you for it..... .

last night the other kind of government was voted in.... .... when persecution of christians comes you can thank yourself for having a part in bringing it about...
