I do love watching the mental gymnastics the fundamentalist Baptists have to do to maintain that the translation of baptizo is divinely inspired and infallible. :)
Well. not a IFB Baptist, but still think baptism should be for believers and by immersion
 
I can guarantee that virtually none of them have actually read the articles of faith that 17th-century Anglicans subscribed to.
Or agreed with the 1611 Translators to include the Apocrypha in the 1611 Kjv edition
 
They also hold to 1984 Niv being a Calvinist translation

Well, the executive secretary of the NIV translation committee (and later general editor of the NIV Study Bible) was Edwin H. Palmer, who was a Christian Reformed pastor and otherwise best known as the author of The Five Points of Calvinism, probably the most notable book summarizing the doctrine.
