This came up on my news feed. The poster says that it would be a war crime if he followed through. I'm not up on the rules of warfare. What say you?

I think America can do whatever it wants. We rule the world. Not saying I agree with what he is saying he will do but we rule the world.

Do they apply for a permit first?
Yes. Congress must declare war.

And then engagement is governed by the Geneva Convention, UN Charter, and other pesky matters of international law. I'm not an expert, but I think an official declaration of war is needed before civilian infrastructure can be targeted.

But then, the general consensus of the forum seems to be that international law is only valid when trying former Nazis.

Wow. I asked a question. How do you come up with "my" conclusion from that?

Maybe you need to rein in your Sub Derangement Syndrome.
Was your thread title not ‘What do you think’?

I voted for Trump 3 times. No TDS over here.
Yet you question his actions? Obviously you are not a true believer which can only be explained by TDS. 😉

Apologies for throwing you into that mix.

But, to me, you do quack like you’re one of their ducks. 😊

Do we have an Army Judge Advocate General on the forum who can weigh in on this issue?

Oh, never mind - Pete Hegseth says they are "jagoffs."
