Ground hog. Don't tell "Phil".

Really?! Did it taste like a rat?

It was actually pretty good. Meat was a little tough and chewy. I don't think I'd do it again. :)

Well... unless I had to .

It tasted like chicken, right?

:)

Shouldn't this thread belong in the fellowship forum? MOVE IT OUT OF HERE!...

Now add a food forum in the basement and get it out of here..................

In all of your reading experiences you haven't read How to Win Friends and Influence People, have ya Bob?  :D

And tis true, that much truth is said in jest, ie....you're right, we need some consistency applied here to the new "Housekeeping" rule. 8)

Perhaps... If I had to sort out all of the fighting/fellowship threads, the forum would just be a bunch of redirects. I will focus on the doctrinally, specific forum threads.

I am giving this a couple of weeks, anyways, to see if the discussions get stifled. So far, they seem to be holding.

Your forum, your rules.  No problem.

But it seems that this might be a helpful place and a clarifying thread (as others may serve a similar purpose when they appear in the future) to let those who post inappropriately placed topics know of your new expectations and where their threads should've been started.

It looking like Pappa might be right. But we'll give the boss some time. You have to remember, he's a Sparty

Seems like folks generally hang out in the "fighting" zone ... Maybe you should reduce number of categories.

Amen.

The first time I went to an authentic Chinese restaurant, I had octopus soup.

it was interesting. It tasted like fish soup with little pieces of tire.

Surprisingly, I still like octopus.  And squid and cuttlefish. Extra tentacles, please.
the chicken gizzards of sea food...octo tentacles.  Love em both.  Hot sauce on the breaded gizzards.  Any fish sauce or chicken stock based pho (soup) is a fine pool from whence to fish octopus.

Iced Sweet Tea is the best! Little lemon ... maybe mix in some pink lemonade ... Mmmmmm

Pho is one of my favorite foods in the world, although I prefer beef-based Pho stock.  I make a pretty mean pot of Pho, myself.

Speaking of strange foods, incidentally, pho seems to be one of those places where you put all the bits of cow you can't otherwise use. Tripe is edible. But tendon? Gak.

I actually feel the opposite way.  I love tendon in Pho.  But I hate tripe in anything.

My brother moved north several years ago and has converted almost everyone he's been around to sweet tea. I can take it either way. I do take my coffee strong and black. I like a little sugar in my tea. Or maybe some Splenda.

There's pretty good "sweet tea" flavored vodka to be had today. Took a taste of some sweet potato vodka a few months ago. Tasted just like raw sweet potatoes.

Russian vodka is made from potatoes, right?  So vodka is in a healthy food group.
