So looks like they are going to try to keep it going with a one room schoolhouse
K-4 through 2nd in a class
3rd through 6th in a class
All the HS in a class
With all of 3 teachers total and probably going to be in part of the college wing since they aint got nobody for college.
Wow!! how the mighty have fallen. It is really sad to see happen. Many good kids have graduated from WHBS.
Is Tom that full of pride that he cannot see the forest for the trees? I guess he is. Someone PM'd me and said that Vineyard's are so full of pride they will blow a hole wide open in the bottom of the ship (their personall actions already have done that). Watch it sink to the bottom of the sea and then cry out how the world is out to get them for being the only ones standing for right.
Side note on teachers salaries --- I never understood why WH paid there staff so poorly!! When my dad was on staff, he would be there till 7-8 at night -- sometimes later for games, practice, Ect. And I know he made peanuts! He would get up every morning at 4 and deliver papers. On to of that all children were required to go to the school -- for which you had to pay. And the wives were "looked down on" if they had a job outside of WH. In fact, I don't think very many did. Yet, they would have extravagant missions conferences and buy all the missionaries new suits and the ladies new dresses and the kids new shoes. Wish they had done that for the staff!!

I disagree with that way of doing things also, but I dont think they are unique in that. There was a lot of talk about low salaries in Hammond, and I know a Lancaster guy who had to live with 6 or so other guys in a house to make ends meet, salary of less than 20k for full time work plus being there for everything church related.
Low pay was a trademark of Bro. Hyles.
JV learned well from Bro. Hyles.
Our teachers at HB almost all had second and third jobs or businesses to support their families.
Bro. Hyles had convinced them they were serving the LORD so they didn't need a lot of money.
If they complained he'd say, "don't you trust God?"
I am so sorry that we sent JV away from Hammond without revealing publicly why he was let go.
I am sure you no longer have to wonder.
You can tell what kind of minisrty Bro. Hyles had by all the divorces in his immediate family.
We did the same with DH, sorry. You have my must humble apologies.
