Yes, but he had some affiliation with stations in Iowa.
Preached 3 revivals in a southern IL church.
One of the men told me was a pig/hog farmer. I asked if he would mind me taking my kids out to the farm for him to teach them about farm life as we home schooled. He not only gave them the grand tour but he let the kids go into tiny pig pens to the biggest (safely) hog pens along with the pastor's young kids.
That pastor also got the men in the church together out in the country to burn some lead with whatever guns they had. He also took our family water skiing on the Mississippi. Great memories for our family of Christians enjoying life together.

Preached in a number of churches in Kansas city. There's some great BBQ there too.
