St. Teresa Catholic Church, Chicago
One Saturday it was near mass time. It was cold. I was visiting the bus route alone.
Went on in. They asked me to help  take the offering. We sang Faith of Our Fathers.

Classic!

That was definitely a non-HACker phase I was going through.

I've been there as well.

LARGEST BAPTISTRY I'VE EVER SEEN IS IN THIS CHURCH.  I think that the sanctuary seats 9,000.

Great auditorium.
Wonderful AV equipment.
Great acoustics.

Baptism is more ........vital........there than it is in Baptist churches.

Really?
I've never heard that, and I have never called  them that.
There are 50+ IFBs in my family alone, and I've never heard that and some are rather mouthy, at least among themselves.
Maybe I should  teach them a new term. ;)

It's been a while but it was called "water-dog religion."

Water fellowship,
Water joy divine
Leaning on the baptismal pool
Water blessedness
Water peace is mine
Leaning on the Baptismal pool.

I have heard the term  water-dogs many time but I have not heard any from  prophets list.

The term seems to be more common in the south.

The term Russellites for Jehovah's Witnesses &  Camelites (Campbellite) & Christer  for members of the Church of Christ are also common. We all know the term Fundie & my favorite is Holy Roller or Happy Clapper for our Pentecostal friends.

I have to love "Charismaniac" for the Pentecostals.
