Why are YouTube videos not embedding for me?

Remove the "s" to change it to http and they'll embed.

They work in the sense that the links work. But I was hoping to see a video, not a link to a video.

The suggestion to drop the "s" so they'd be "http" and not "https", was a good thought, but apparently not compatible with YouTube's recent upgrade.
 
Now that I am seeing the forum on a computer, instead of Tapatalk, I see what you mean.

Now you notice a YouTube icon in the list above...

Here is a picture of how you will embed. Note well: You only use the identification number of the URL, not the entire link.

No. It is probably related to my outdated php on my server. I am trying to upgrade that, but I have more pressing upgrades to make before I do that.
 
Handy fix. Are we still up against the "embedding limit" thingy where after a certain number of videos are embedded, the software shows only the link?
