When I said that Trump puts his money where his mouth is I was referring specifically to when it comes to supporting the military. I'm surprised you don't remember McCain thumbing his nose at missing POW's when there was massive evidence that many unlike himself were still being held captive in Viet Nam and even Korea. Here is one link.Just John said:I don't care for Trump or McCain but no one is a bigger narcissist than Trump. Not sure it's possible. And where is his consistent record of conservatism? His "putting his money where his mouth is" is a big concern considering where many of his past campaign donations have gone! He is a siren song for many who are rightly angered that he will never satisfy.
I am a pretty informed guy and can never remember hearing of the charge against McCain you brought up and POW's. I did a quick google search and the first results I see are from Alex Jones, WND and dailykos. Not saying there isn't anything there but I wouldn't believe it from those sites. Now I would believe it if Ann Coulter said it. She disdains McCain and I would have expected she would have brought it up if true but I don't remember her ever making any such claim so I am respectfully doubtful at this point.

I remember a few years ago someone asked Trump why he gave money to Democrats and he explained that in New York and many of the places he did business were controlled by democrats and he simply maintained a business relationship with them. I know there are issues I would strongly disagree with him on and voting for him is certainly not set in stone by a long shot.
The direction America is going has troubled many people and not just Christians. People harshly criticize Rush Limbaugh on this site and yet he speaks for the unborn, has strongly opposed the homosexual agenda and generally upholds values most here hold dear. He is not a pastor and does speak against the Democratic party that is so radical now that anyone who is opposed to killing a healthy baby half way out of the womb is sick and unchristian because they want to limit a woman's right to "choose." It is the Democratic party that promotes the destruction of marriage between a man and a woman. It is the Democratic party that has divided the nation by race, gender, class and every other way in order to stay in power. Now the Republican establishment is no better.
I look at Ted Cruz who supported fast track authority to the most radical President in American history before he finally flip flopped under pressure. I could go one by one and find things in all of the candidates that in my mind would disqualify them getting my vote.
One last thing. Many Americans are truly frightened about the direction we are going so how do you know Donald Trump isn't genuinely concerned also? Can you read his heart as to why he wants to be president? By stepping into the political arena whole hog he is risking many of his business ventures such as doing business in New York and many other places. One could say he is risking his very wealth by even running for President. Vote your conscience.
