Watching Top Gun got me researching this idea presented in the movie. I’d definitely have to say drones will replace manned missions, but I imagine it’ll take a couple decades.

drones will certainly become more common in future wars.... but they will never completely replace the human combat pilot until they can be made hack proof and jam resistant.... and right now governments can;t even protect their own email servers..... .
