it;s going on right now... . and that;s what i was doing all day today.... watching 4 different games back to back...
..... and surfing the internet (including this forum).... between the games...........never would have been on here
this much otherwise...... .. . i think i;m going to end up dreaming about softball tonight... . and i never even
played it myself...

friday will be 2 elimination games.... . texas vrs mississippi state... ... and then ucla vrs arkansas.... .. the teams that won thursday will play on saturday.... ... but the 2 teams that lose fridays games will be out of the tournament...

i;m rooting for mississippi state too ..... mostly because my dad is going to be rooting for texas..... ...and we got to make it competetive... .. but i also want to see the broccoli theme go all the way to the final.... .... there is a big time ucla fan in the house too....she played for ucla in her college days... .... so it;s going to be interesting..... :D
 
If only I did not have to work. And burn cardboard, and do caulking on the garage. And put down sod. And clean the pool. And do my final exam for my class. And write a paper for my class.

that;s one of our roommates is.... she played for ucla years ago but works all the time at several different hospitals... . ..this time of year she ends up having to take vacation time off or refuse overtime shifts if she wants to watch the games...... .... since ucla made she;s on vacation time now.... ...but appears to be enjoying it....:cool:
 
texas won over mississippi state 4 to 0.. . .. i guess that;s it for the broccoli in the dug out this year... 🥦🥦🥦.. ... and now ucla has a 9 to 0 lead over arkansas in the 2nd inning... 😲.. .a quick run rule victory coming up........ ... but that;s ok.... i;m tired.... gotto go meet a fishing boat sometime this evening - when they call and and say they are close... ... . going to pick out a few fresh shibi for tommorrow....🐟. . ... ..got my rubber boots and turn outs ready for climbing into the hold.. ... .just waiting on the call..... :cool:...
 
today will be games between the winners of this past thursdays games....
..texas tech vrs tennessee at 9 am hawaiian time.. .. and then nebraska vrs
alabama at 1 pm........ .....

one of these is what we are having for dinner today........a shibi ..(juvenile tuna)
....prepared seared ahi style on a bed of shredded cabbage with wasabi sauce...

i don;t have a picture of the actual fish i pulled out of the hold last night..
but it;s about the same size as this one.. maybe a few pounds smaller...
.all they wanted for it was 1 crisp andrew jackson...💵 .. ($20).. it helps
to have friends in the business... 😄

tennessee defeated texas tech in a game some ucla fans consider the beginning of poetic justice
.... i don;t take it that seriously... but i did enjoy seeing the pitcher that abandoned her old team
in her senior year to try and cash in at texas tech - lose yesterday... . . now if her old team... ucla..
. can beat texas tech today i might change my mind and see it as somewhat poetic.....:sneaky:

now today - nebraska plays texas in another elimination game........ ..
