Good to hear your dad turned his life around. I do background checks and credit checks all the time, they really are not expensive to do.

I was under the impression if you are someone like a PI, then it would be cheaper because you would pay for some subscription.
Otherwise it's like $30-$50 per person

Dads doing quite well. He has a hot temper, got off really easy actually. It was in the late 70's so it's pretty much not even thought about.
