You know...basic creedal-type stuff, the kind of stuff that defines what Christianity actually is.

Who gets to decide what is "basic" enough for inclusion?

All I see is that you want to draw the line a little farther over to one side than I do. So what?

All I see is that you want to draw the line a little farther over to one side than I do. So what?

I'd argue (as would an extremely large number of people) that the beliefs expressed in the creeds are about as basic as one can get and stay within orthodoxy.
