The only good argument I've heard against Zimmerman was made outside the trial by Michael Savage. He pointed out that Zimmerman must have had a round in the chamber and the safety off before the fight, which means he had intent to shoot.
I would argue that he didn't need the safety off. He could pull out the gun and turn the safety off with one hand. But he probably had a round in the chamber because that takes 2 hands, and he probably couldn't chamber a round while he was getting battered. Martin wouldn't have allowed him to do that, I think.
However, I don't necessarily agree with Michael Savage's reasoning. Maybe Zimmerman always had a round chambered when he went out on patrol. Someone would have to establish that this was not the case, and that he chambered a round specifically for this confrontation.
But what do I know? I'm just a crazy-a$$-cracker.

But the state couldn’t get away with not trying for murder; this case is supposed to illustrate a Larger Truth about white (or “white Hispanicâ€) racism, and something as malignant as that requires a murder charge.
The fact that they’re now floating a charge as nonsensical as murder committed in the course of felony child abuse when the shooting itself is the ostensible child abuse lays bare just how political the state’s goal is. That was already clear from the fact that the police chief was relieved for refusing to arrest Zimmerman, and then doubly clear when the state decided it needed a special prosecutor to make sure that this was brought to trial. They must have a conviction here, not only to vindicate that Larger Truth but to lower the chances of violence after the verdict.

How about banning music that elevates violence and treats women like livestock? How about real education reform, that includes discipline and order and expects kids to learn something other than black studies? How about welfare reform that focuses on education and workforce placement?
Or we could just keep manufacturing racism where it isn't and flaming a victim mentality because that is working so well for us.

Why is it at one hand.... you never trust the Police to do what's right..... and then you turn right around and pretend you're going to trust them to patrol your neighborhood properly???
Would you have preferred "No Limit _____" on patrol?
