Most any worker, works much harder than the average "pastor or evangelist".

I know you wouldn't know this from hearing the average fundamentalist talk of how hard they work for Jesus.... but the average worker pulling a 40 hour shift a week works MUCH harder than the average pastor drawing a salary.

Having 15 years of experience in fundy churches.... I know that is not true of how I worked and how some pastors I worked with.

There are some, I worked with, that didn't work very hard.

Nope. Like I said. I have experience. You on the other hand have none.
I'm the rightful heir to the English throne. You, on the other hand, are a peasant and owe me five tons of cabbage annually.

It's easy to make up claims and demand everyone believe them on your own say-so.

I'm not looking for approval from you nor those like you. Don't conflate that with "my credibility".

Suit yourself, but when multiple sources from varying backgrounds see the same trait then there's likely fire coming from that smoke.

I will be convinced with evidence. I know what I have experience with. I wonder when all these "hard workers" find time to do all this "other stuff" at.

Yeah, he probably went from mail room sorting boy in his 20s to mid-level manager in his 30s because he was lazy. Gotta love that logical thought progression.🙄

So you and yours put in your 40 hour weeks?

Such is not always won with hard work. Gotta love your logic. Either way, I am talking about now. Not what accomplishments he wants to brag about when he actually had a job.

Your exaggerations do not match my examples.

Which is one of the reasons, I've advocated for a "members appreciation" day at least once a year at the average "local church".

If they can have a "pastor appreciation celebration" at least 4 times a year because the preacher is working so hard..... then they can have a member appreciation at least once a year and share a little "glory" with someone else.

The average pastor can write a sermon in just a few hours at most. Sure, he might have to do a funeral or a wedding every once in a while but its usually "easy money". With a ton of praise to go along with it.

They can go fishing, hunting, golfing and have extensive preacher fellowships to expense. I know I know..... It was hard before.....and they worked when they didn't get paid......Well, so have just about anyone else.

Just more exaggeration and nonsense from them.
HOGWASH!

Yeah, you are speculating about things and people that you don't have any idea about specifically, and assuming the worst . You are applying your anecdotal evidence universally to others. That's foolish and you continue to say such foolish things, digging a deeper hole despite the evidence supplied by numerous posters around you. Pure willful stubbornness.

You're speculating about me. Does it bother you that you're doing the exact same things you "claim" I'm doing?

You can't see yourself for what you are. I can. You'll face God with calling me a fool. I've already told you what Jesus said about it and you don't care.

That's some fair emotional blackmail, but you're not up to the level of your garden-variety Ruckmanoid.

Weak sauce. I give it 5/10 Gene Kims.

Emotional blackmail? That's snowflake rhetoric.

It is the Truth and doesn't matter if you accept it or not. I doesn't depend upon your approval.

You have the same issue. You don't mind calling me a fool at all. In fact, you take pleasure in it.

40 hours would have cut short what we had to accomplish in ministry.
I don't ever remember having a short week like that except for a holiday or vacation.

I spent 30 hours preparing ONE sermon... so, add Sunday School lesson, Wednesday night prep... counseling... visiting with members... prayer... I could NEVER stuff all that into just 40 hours.
