Most any worker, works much harder than the average "pastor or evangelist".

The word fool found in the KJV isn't antiquated. Not that you would know. You're making this up as you go.

From the ESV....

Mat 5:22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.

I don't think you understand, and that is being charitable. The word fool is not antiquated. It is, however, your use of an antiquated definition of the word, and your insistence that I meant it in the manner that you force upon me despite me explaining to you that the theological definition of fool in the context of Matthew is not how I meant it. The word was not used in anger nor was it used in a sense of calling you an apostate. I gave you Webster's definition that was appropriate to my usage. If you would take what was given you and ponder the implications then you might realize the need to change, and it would actually benefit you. Instead it's as if you think you somehow know more about how I meant to use the word than I do/did. Again, your stubbornness to retract what you clearly are wrong about gets in the way of genuine understanding. Lacking understanding is the essence of a functional definition of the word fool.

In a similar fashion you make claims about what my pastor believes and his work ethics without any corroborating or supporting evidence. I have seen Ransom and others observe the same thing in you. You make wild claims without any supporting evidence and expect people to just simply believe you. You need to do a better job of showing your work.

When you start dealing intellectually honestly with what I say then I will resume the conversation. Until then, have a day.

You have not figured out yet that the All Knowing Treasure knows more of what each of us believes and the motivation behind each statement than what we do. To question his absolute authority is blasphemy.

I didn't make enough in ministry to fund a retirement account. I am not retired. I am simply free because my "tent-making" work via the internet has given me that freedom. (No... I dont make much from the ads on this forum).

I am free to help ministries with media and construction... both, skills I have developed. (Right now I am in a "holding pattern" to help with my grandson). However, we do travel quite a bit.

My point exactly.

There is no antiquated definition of the English word fool. Prove it. You may argue that what Jesus said wasn't fool. Take that up with your KJV loving friends.

I have seen Ransom and others observe the same thing in you.

Like you care. You and Ransom hate one another. You have every since I can remember or do you remember "LAMER"?

You make wild claims without any supporting evidence and expect people to just simply believe you. You need to do a better job of showing your work.

I am a first hand witness of said actions. You IFBs could care less. You run in circles that make you look ridiculous and then want to claim you're different. You're not. If you were, your "masters" wouldn't let you stick around. Either that, or you're a coward. Or probably BOTH.

Thank you kind sir. So gracious. I attack your "golden calf" and you love me now. You don't count me as being faithful to God. You know you don't. Which is why YOU called me a fool.

Back to your meds.

I don't see how that supports the idea that other workers work harder than pastors.

You've had to go external to your "ministry" to be able to make a living in this world. YOU, have worked a job while ministering to others. Get it... You had a JOB TOO. The ministry part was your PART TIME work.

Many members have full time jobs, pray, study, witness, and do everything and more a pastor does in their efforts. They just don't get to control others and draw a full time salary for a part time job.

I didn't see where FSSL said when he was a pastor that he was only working "part time". Again you contradict yourself by saying pastors are control freaks and lazy. These two things rarely go together. A control freak will show up for everything because they don't believe anything can run smoothly without them being there to control it. A control freak will typically do more than there fair share of the work because they don't think anyone else could do as good of a job as they can.

I was FULL TIME associate pastor. No other job. I worked 60+ hours a week at $25,000 a year salary. No benefits

I still work just as hard now, making considerably more doing internet stuff.

Which just goes to show you are in it for the money and since you could do less work and make more you quit the ministry.

60? Are you serious? If the all knowing Treasure had been in that position he would have worked 150 hours a week for $300 a year.

I sloughed off... wish I had taken bus ministry class at Hyles! I would have been more dedicated and disciplined

They paid based on what the job was worth given the circumstances. That was your mistake. Nothing to do with God nor the people you served.

YOU didn't continue to do it. No one would. Which why people DON'T. You're an exception not the rule.

Liar! I've never done such and wouldn't.

I have worked endless hours in the job I do now AND find time to study, pray, live for God without charging a dime to anyone naming the name of Christ.

YOUR people serve their bellies off the back of a bunch of lying crocks stealing God's money for themselves.

The preceding coming from a lying crock promoting the thievery of God's children in God's name. Your pastor is stealing God's money to fill his own belly while his followers tell everyone how he "does so much with so little".....

You know its amazing. All these people promoting the thief of God's children in the name of their own marketing campaigns...... They don't even like one another. They often hate one another.....

Yet, you start talking about their "sacred cows" and they all bond together.... You know what they bond together in?

Money. They're underpaid for what they do and they want to know about it. Doesn't matter it is stolen money or not.

YOUR people
And who would those be?

The ones you worship with every week down at your choice of idol houses.
Well of course you don't know where I worship or anything about the church-but of course that doesn't matter. Your complaint isn't really against idol worship, your complaint is you aren't the "idol" being worshipped.

I haven't asked anyone to follow me and no one knows me. I can't be worshipped. You enjoy your lies don't you?

I know that your leaders tell people that they need to pay God to love them and that God will hurt them if they don't pay God his money. Your leaders them OPEN THEIR HANDS to steal the money they claim you owe God.
