'A COVID-19 outbreak in a Massachusetts county in July primarily occurred among vaccinated people, sparking fears that a variant of the CCP virus can impact that population more than other strains.

'Of the 469 cases detected in Barnstable County, 74 percent occurred among the fully vaccinated, according to a new study published on Friday.

'Genomic sequencing of 133 patients showed most of them were infected with the Delta variant of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus.

'The bulk of the infected people did not require hospital care, but among the five that did, four were fully vaccinated.'

...

'Some of the researchers are CDC officials. Others are with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, which declined to facilitate an interview on the findings.

'The cases in Barnstable County stemmed from summer events and large public gatherings held between July 3 and July 17, the researchers said in the study.'

90% of crimes are committed by right-handed people.

Its curious how they take the data from one county in one state. You would almost think that they had search hard for one small group somewhere to support their narrative. The info is still not that helpful with significant details. Was this outbreak among a population with a high rate of vaccination, meaning very few unvaccinated were at the event to be infected. Would the infection rate and hospital rate have been significantly higher had they not been vaccinated? With the exception of the anti-vaxxers few people believe that the vaccine is going to offer the same level of protection for every variant. With the variants that exist at this point though, an individual will typically fare far better vaccinated than not vaccinated.

For the life of me, i do not understand how the entire internet has not been convinced by Eeek, The Twisted and their cut and paste links.
Come on people! Get a tinfoil hat, a Peter Ruckman coffee mug, order a few leeches to keep your blood pure from disease and help them enlighten the world.

One note of correction. Non genetic modified leaches. The genetically modified ones are part of Bill Gates scheme to depopulate the earth.

Correction: Many of the vaccinated will fare better than the few who have not already been exposed. Again, natural immunity is more robust than any achieved by a vaccine, and millions have it.

And yet again, if the death tally is accurate, it indicates that over 300 million in the U.S. have been through covid and fought it off, meaning herd immunity has been achieved, and the pandemic is over. That doesn't mean covid will go away.

That's never what it means to end an epidemic.

An epidemic is over when the infection rate is stable, or in other words, when a sufficient number of the population is immune, and an infected member can give the disease to only one other, instead of spreading to three or more others.

There will be millions of new cases every year, just like the flu. Thousands will have to be treated, just like the flu. But now that the infection rate is stable, the epidemic is over.

And unlike the flu, children are not vulnerable. And unlike the flu, covid lends itself quite elegantly to a risk stratified approach, meaning outbreaks are easily managed.

There is no need for a vaccine. It's superfluous, especially in light of the success with repurposed drugs.

Can you indicate on the chart below the date range where that stabilization occurred? Keep in mind we are averaging more daily infections than we were in July of 2020.

A stable infection rate doesn't mean there aren't fluctuations in incidents, or that there aren't peak seasons.

As I said before: a stable infection rate means that the immunity in a population is such that one infected can only infect one other.

It has been estimated that at least 70% of the population needs to be immune to reach herd immunity and end the epidemic. Lying 卐auci said 90%. If the death tally is accurate, going from the established Infection Fatality Rate--not the Case Fatality Rate you keep citing (there is a difference)--of 0.3%, that means that over 300 million in the U.S. have been through this and have built up an immunity. That's 90% of the population.

I should add the 300 million number includes the roughly 30% who were exposed but didn't get infected due to native immunity built up to common could corona virsuses. They are not included in the total number infected.

I love your version of reality. Wild fluctuations equal a stable trend.

So . . . you can't indicate on the chart where the stabilization occurred?

What a goof.

From Ekklesian's source:

The cases in Barnstable County stemmed from summer events and large public gatherings held between July 3 and July 17, the researchers said in the study. . . .

The events attracted thousands of tourists to the area.

"Events." Specifically, Provincetown "Bear Week." In case you're still unclear on the concept, that's the largest annual gathering of big hairy gay men in the world.

Vaccine or no vaccine, you think there might be some happenings going on at Barnstable County's Big Gay Orgy that might facilitate the spread of contagion?

Ekklesian needs to find more honest sources.

The chart doesn't display infection rate. An infection rate is not a measurement of the number of infections. It is a measurement of the number of susceptible people that can be infected by a diseased individual.

Once that number is on average 1, then the infection rate is stable.

I cited this info above and in other places. If you had read them and understood them, you wouldn't be citing that graph as a rebuttal.
