Does God care what we wear at church?

This is not true.
and were you there back in wesleys day?..... do you think you are some kind of time traveller?..... the sole arbiter of truth on the fff?.... .... ..... i rmember my dad telling about a preacher who was also a farmer... and who ... depending on the time of year.. would sometimes have to come straight from the field and step into the pulpit wearing the same sweaty overalls he had been plowing the fields in...... that story came directly from his grandfather who had attended that church as a boy when that preacher was still alive... and saw it himself...... who are you to suggest his grandfather and everybody else who has told similar stories were lying?

Wrong thread. :ROFLMAO:
Thought it would have bled through to all of them, especially since you're such an idiot anyhow. Could be I just wanted to see if you were paying attention. Some of us know how to play just as well as you.

They didn't plow on Sundays, and Saturday night was bath night.

Stereotypes....really? UGH! What a freakin' moron! Got documentation that all of them didn't do this? Cough it up, loser.

You first.
You're using all the typical loser deflection. That helps me narrow it down to two people now...I could be wrong, but there are others who think the same thing...Which one are you? Scott (Ransom) or FSSL? ;)

I'm neither. I am me. Just o'l Ekklesian seein' if you fundies really believe in anything.

LOL. I definitely agree with AverageJoe now. I was giving Ekklesian the benefit of the doubt until he said he was “seeing’ if you fundies really believe in anything.” That just sounds too fake!

You offer no real proof...so I'll take that as an affirmation of the suspicions of many here,
I hope you’re wrong. Between stuff he said to Aleshanee and now making blasphemous statements, it’d be sad to do all that just for clickbait.

I'm sure there would be other considerations if it's who some here have the correct assumption. I believe it's possible that it's one of the two, but possible isn't always "likely."

who said anything about sunday?....... ...i didn;t.... neither did averagejoe....... .. have you ever heard of mid week church services held in the evenings?.... have you ever heard of a revival that held servces every night for a week?...... .some of those started before sunset just as many people were finishing up their days work....... ... and who would be plowing in the middle of the night into the morning anyway?.....

the op doesn;t mention sunday morning.... and even the article in the o.p. starts off with american tourists to australia asking a local family there what college students wore to church on sunday night....... ...did you read that article?

again...... you make grand assumptions and broad declaratons based on very limited knowledge..... .. your limited knowledge........ and it;s been obvious for a while now that you only halfway read something....if even that much.... before you jump in to make your pontifications, and show all the rest of us what a "genius" you think you are.... ....... a legend in your own mind right?... ...

Midweek services weren't a thing in Wesley's day. They became popular in America in the 1800's as society became more industrialized and lesiure time accrued much more quickly and easily. Still, in agrarian regions, after all day with the fields and herds, they weren't walking or riding miles to attend a service.

official historians on the lives of methodist preachers like whitfield and wesley disagree with you....
... maybe you should get right over there and straighten them out!.... ..
🤥

@Ransom. Maybe they'll believe you. They think you're at least as smart as I am.
Thanks, FSSL. That's all I needed. This is the view of at least two people who have contacted me. Not necessarily my view. I think you're just a jackass from a previous life. ;) And yes, I have to be smarter than whomever you are, because you haven't got a lick of sense, and probably a raisin for a brain....a liquor-soaked raisin!
