Current State of HAC

My kid might be going to PCC in a couple years. She’s visited and seems to like it. She’s planning on doing nursing, and apparently they have a top notch nursing program with a high NCLEX passage rate in Florida. We’ll see…a couple more years to think about it, otherwise it’ll be commuter school. Liberty U is out of our price range.

PCC has had a reputation as a good nursing college for decades.

The only thing I know against them is that they are into (or sliding towards) contemporary music, but if that is no problem for you, so be it.

It's an interesting point. I don't have a problem with a school being primarily for training pastors, missionaries, or various leadership positions, but I DO object to trying to "guilt" everyone for going there "at least one year" when they have NO call to these areas.

Or, the church can try to truly be a college that provides degrees in many areas, but this is difficult, I would imagine.
The Crown College has a trade college for its students so a church type college can do it.

She actually loves CCM, so that definitely won’t be a dealbreaker.

They've been going that way for a while now...
