You have the gall to accuse Christians who voted against a communist who would have turned America into a failed state like Canada or England while strutting your nose in the air talking about principles while in the mean time accusing Christians of subverting the gospel. Does policy matter? Are you an idiot? Christians who refuse vote for and support moral laws that protect not only themselves but their neighbors are about as unreasonable as a stubborn mule. What it actually means, isn’t that he finds such moral deliberations insignificant or irrelevant, but rather that those boorish behaviors of Trump are subservient in their role and calculus to the totality of what politics is intended and designed to accomplish in restraining evil (Rom 13).

You summed it up very nicely with Romans 13 which teaches us the very essence of the role of human government. For a Christian to do his civic duty and participate in the elections of our leaders without voting for a flawed candidate is impossible. From my understanding of scripture, there will be no peace on earth until Jesus Christ the Son of God returns and sets up a kingdom of righteousness on this earth. Until that time Christians should be salt as well as light in the world we were born into. Too many Christians try to virtue signal by claiming to stay out of politics and yet that is practically all they talk about.
 
If the American people will continue to vote Republican no matter what….. they will continue to screw us.

But if at some point we say, America First, or we do not vote for you then at that point we have leverage!
