I know I'm probably late to the party as they say when it comes to the Husband but is anyone else shocked her husband is remarried? This quick?
I myself think just that alone should be re-examined.

Lindsay Clancy committed the murders of their children in January 2023.

She and her husband divorced in February 2024.

Patrick Clancy remarried in the spring of 2026.

Without regard to whether the divorce and remarriage were biblically legitimate or not (and whether the Clancys were Christian or not), I don't think two years is all that "quick."

I myself think just that alone should be re-examined.

For what reason? Lindsay Clancy killed their three children. That fact is not in dispute. What Patrick Clancy may or may not have done after the fact is beside the point.

My point was how could an individual who had been through such a horrible tragedy. The loss of these children at the hands of an apparently insane individual (debated) That is heartbreaking. The whole situation. It just seems a short time to enter an entire new relationship. The baggage would be intense. I just feel its too fast.

I think it's fair, as a matter of private opinion, to question Patrick Clancy's judgment. But to assert that his second marriage needs to be "re-examined"? Re-examined by whom? The law? He's been implicated in no crimes and done nothing to warrant scrutiny. In that respect, his remarriage is his business, not ours.

I'm reminded of the online "influencers" who suggest Erika Kirk was complicit in her husband's murder because, in their estimation, her behaviour since his death isn't "proper" for a grieving widow. We don't get to define that for them, or worse, use it as a springboard for more nefarious accusations. That could easily cross a couple of lines: from having an opinion, to gossip-mongering, and then to actual defamation.

You have some good points there. My opinion is not to promote gossip but would wonder of the health of such a short time and hope there were good pastoral counsel. To give good support.
Part of my thinking comes from a case a while back in the news. A tragic murder by strangers of an entire family but the husband found tied up in the basement of the family home. It's fuzzy now but he married a member of the defense team in less than a year after. I was like wow!
