The Party's Over!

I wonder what the Democrat majority in Congress will impeach the President on now? You know its going to happen and I believe Carville may be right about Trump resigning from the presidency by springtime. I do not expect him to finish his term.

Elections went well in Idaho.
NO Democrats won their races. In fact, a democrat who ran one of the most annoying campaigns of the season lost 20-80%. The pro abortion campaign that doubtless had a bunch of money coming in from outside Idaho failed, albeit, surprisingly closely by about 10%.

In Eastern Washington, we kept our house representative, Michael Baumgartner who I feel has been doing a good job of representing us. As you can imagine, a good many statewide initiatives went with a small handful of counties to the left.

Here in Asotin County, a candidate who has my support for Sheriff is holding a narrow lead.

The crown has fallen from our heads. Woe unto us that we have sinned!
if vacuous stupidty is a sin.... . then yes .. those who voted for this... and brought in this socialist trojan horse.. have sinned.... .. ....and the crown didn;t fall.... it was voluntarily handed to them and they tossed it in the trash.. ... but if you want to know what happens next just look at the history of nations who have done this kind of thing before........ .it;s going to very hard now to get back what we had - if it is even possible at all.... .. but i hope and pray it is.....

In my opinion, the Demon-cratic election victory is a disaster for America. So that raises the question, what happened to the promised blessing on America, if we bless Israel by attacking Iran for Bibi? The results so far look more like a curse than a blessing. We (Republicans) lost this election, not because Trump was not on the ballot, but because of his war with Iran.

"Vance wrote that a GOP pollster told him there were four major reasons why Republicans lost by such large margins. He pointed to four actions that Republicans could have taken to mitigate Republican losses—ending the Iran war, focusing on the cost of living and inflation, putting America first and changing the U.S. relationship with Israel. 'The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night,' Vance wrote.

"Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) said the Iran war and its impact on the economy could hurt Republicans in Tuesday’s elections. DeSantis told sports radio show host Stephen A. Smith on Monday that the Iran war has been a 'drag' on Republicans in the 2026 midterm elections due to its effect on gas prices. He argued that President Donald Trump’s decision to launch a war in Iran may have isolated Republican voters."

"Nancy Mace attributes the GOP midterm losses mainly to the Iran conflict. In posts quoting Levin, she called it 'your beloved Iran War' that 'lost seats everywhere,' arguing voters rejected endless Middle East involvement amid high costs of living."

So, where do we go from here? Should we stay the course, and lobby to keep Trump's war in Iran going, so we can lose the White House in 2028? Get ready to say "Hail To the Chief" to President Occasional-Cortex and her Green Raw Deal!

wow... look at this.... you actually did post a thought of your own... (sort of)... .. but it;s a thought once again giving aid and comfort to an enemy.... and encouragement for them to keep on fighting..... . things that even if we disagree with a war we should never do when american servicemen and women are in harms way......

sadly the rest of your post is all cut and paste.... ...

A lot of hand wringing going on amongst the GOP and well there should be. But those who are believers understand that the GOP is not going to save our nation. I frankly don't see much difference between this midterm result and other midterms where the tide changed. The American electorate has been and will always be a fickle bunch. A lot of people are happy with the results but they aren't going to stay happy. That's just human nature.

If by "we" you mean believers who would like to see a more conservative bend in our politics, we need to remember that God is not sweating the latest results. We are reaping what society at large has sown. There will be further decline into sin regardless of which party is in charge. "We" have only one responsibility: "We" need to humble ourselves before our God and individually turn from our own sin and seek His glory.

And anyone over the age of thirty has been around long enough to know that politics is a pendulum that swings back and forth like clockwork. 😎

Not since 1932 has Kansas been Blue. This one is different

I am constantly telling the Bible Study group at our church that "God ordains all things which come to pass" which can often be a hard pill to swallow and truth be known, I am having a bit of difficulty swallowing this as well! Nevertheless, I am convinced that it is true and is a basic, fundamental truth not only of sovereignty but of the fact that God is not God if such is not true!

But this all leaves us with a difficult question we have to answer does it not? Why would God allow such a thing to happen?

I believe it goes far beyond what we may call "voter stupidity." I believe that a good many good Christians sincerely acted according to their conscience and likely sat this election cycle out and I think we need to be careful in accusing them of being "stupid" or whatever because God may very well have placed it on their hearts to take whatever action they may have taken so if we were to accuse them, would we not also be accusing God? Just thinking aloud here.

I do not want to go off the rails regarding biblical prophecy but I see quite a few parallels between the Reign of Josiah and Trump's presidency. Josiah was very much a righteous king who "Did that which was right in the sight of the Lord" taking actions that were long overdue even surpassing other kings before him such as Hezekiah, Jehoshephat, and so forth. It was likely an exciting time in Judea during his reign where many likely believed that Josiah would hopefully restore Jerusalem and the throne of David back to its glory days and "Make Israel Great Again!" There was a rather unpopular preacher running around declaring that the so-called "revival" was "too little, too late" (Jer 3:10) and that the judgment of God was imminent. There were of course, other prophets who prophesied contrary to Joshua who were quite nationalistic saying that Israel needed to stand up to the invading forces of Nebuchadnezzaar and so forth. I am certain that many of these "false prophets" meant well (look at all of the WOF nutjobs surrounding the President) but they were leading Israel astray keeping them blinded to the divine judgment that truly was coming of which Jeremiah was speaking. You may also factor in the actions of Hegseth and others as well. All of this sounds great and why would a Christian NOT support their agenda right?

I have said so in the past and will say so again - Liberal Christianity IS NOT Christianity and in many cases, it is anti-Christianity in its opposition to many of the very things that Christians throughout the centuries have laid down their lives for! I would also say that Western "Evangelical" Christianity is not genuine Christianity either!

What truly hurts is what has happened in my beloved state of Texas! Texas has literally become "Californicated!"

well... it kinda did fall for some of them....... they lost their jobs.. .. and now
the dems want to put them in jail.... ... but that;s what happens when you import
your new voters from the banana republics... they bring the banana republics with them
