They were both at my church not long ago, looking a married as ever. His son, Jonathan is our song leader, so he comes by a few time a year to see the grandchild.

I don't think big church's is the answer.  The small church, with the country preacher, who doesn't have a God complex is the answer.  THey never built mega church's in the church model.  Once a church started to grow, and members were trained, they started new church's.

That method of preaching seems to be true to form, for hac.  I have a concern about a preacher that is just an orator, not a preacher of the bible.  If he is just reading a verse, that doesn't have much to do with sermon and then reads one from memory, he is wasting his time or to lazy to study...

It's not what he ate, it was the Kool Aide he drank before bed that would cause such a dream.

I have never left being an independent baptist, since from what i can tell is the closes from a biblical model.  As for the fundy movement, i have left that.  I have also distanced by self from movements in general
