Trump targets Iran's Supreme Leader in first wave of joint attack with Israel as Tehran strikes back at US bases across region and at Tel Aviv

That's some roundabout thinking. Not surprising for someone who can implicate the Joooooooooooooooooooooooooooos! in everything.
Your own words, dude.

Hamas ... must be eradicated.

And, Hamas = Iran.

To my recollection, in the last few years there have been four major groups that have launched rocket attacks on Israel: Iran itself, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. Hezbollah and the Houthis are Shia groups (Hamas is Sunni), and Iran backs all three. All of them have the elimination of Israel as a political goal. Iran is the primary sponsor of terrorism in the Middle East, and most of that is directed against Israel.

So yes, it's clear that one of Iran's political goals is destroying Israel and killing Jews: they finance the people that want to destroy Israel and kill Jews. Middle Eastern terrorism is, by and large, made up of Iranian proxies.

Jack Hibbs talks about the prophecy concerning Elam (in modern day Iran) and their return similar to the return of the Jews to their homeland in the latter days (Jer 49:34-39) and peace in Israel before the time of tribulation Jesus talked about. The Amplified Bible also agrees that this prophecy is yet future. Hibbs said Mike Pompeo who was CIA director in the first Trump administration said that the CIA detected a massive download of information coming out of the cloud and that Iran had more Bible downloads than any other nation on earth. He believes there could be a massive evangelical movement in Iran that could spread to the surrounding nations like Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, etc., leading to the collapse of Islam setting the stage for the Antichrist. Hibbs believes Iran is attacking other Arab nations in hopes of their Imam’s return to rescue them. It is a theological move on Iran’s part.

"Non sequitur" is also frequently in my vocabulary. It doesn't follow that the destruction of a terrorist rape gang like Hamas means I desire the destruction of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Nice try. I'll give you credit for trying, however inept. The mentally lazy Duh seems to think "because I say so" is the highest form of proof.

No one said that, but it follows that you want a regime change.

The end of an evil regime, if indeed the Islamic Republic has been destroyed, is a good thing, It doesn't follow that I support the way it was ended.

Similarly, I don't mourn abortionists when they are killed or their clinics get bombed. That doesn't mean I approve of murder or arson.

This prophecy video is pure speculation, with no Scriptural basis. Notice how many times Hibbs says, "What if?" He says, "Is it possible?" "If I had to guess." "Let's wait and see, we don't want to be goofy." Sorry, but Hibbs is being really goofy in this interview.

Hibbs hits on the usual prophetic cliches. "Jesus said there would be wars and rumors of wars." So what? There have been hundreds of wars in the past 2000 years, none of which were a sign of the end. "Israel is the apple of God's eye." How does this relate to any current events? The CBN interviewer cautions that "we don't want to play the game" of identifying current events with the Ezekiel 38 prophecy, but this video does exactly that, it plays games with ancient prophecies taken out of context. John 14:29 is misused to say that the Bible predicts events in Iran today - that is absolutely not what Jesus was talking about!

Hibbs cites Jeremiah 49:36 as a prediction of a massive Iranian diaspora that was not fulfilled until 1979. That is preposterous - there were large communities of Iranians in Los Angeles and other cities around the world long before 1979, including Chicago which I am personally acquainted with because I grew up there. Iranians are believed to have settled along the coast of East Africa as early as the 7th Century AD. There was significant emigration of Iranians in the 19th Century during the Qajar Dynasty, to territories ruled by Russia and the Ottoman Empire.

Hibbs believes that current events are setting up for the fulfillment of the Isaiah 17 prophecy of the destruction of Damascus. He ignores the fact that Isaiah 17:3-4 states that the "fortress of Ephraim" and the "glory of Jacob" will be destroyed at the same time. This prophecy was fulfilled in ancient times - Damascus was destroyed in 732 BC, the northern kingdom of Israel likewise destroyed in 722 BC. Do we really want to see the prophecy fulfilled again - Damascus and Israel both wiped out simultaneously? That is what Isaiah predicted here!

At the end of the video, we are exhorted to study our Bibles. At least that part of the video is good advice. If we do that, we will not be taken in by this dispenSENsational prophecy baloney by folks like Jack Hibbs.

I find it interesting that only the Muslims (and others) who are enjoying Western freedoms and have not been subjugated to a fanatical regime are the ones who are opposed to the destruction of the regime in Iran.

But basically I’ve told him many different ways that we do not fight for our freedoms anymore or to keep our guns. We go to war these days for the 1% to become more rich.
I completely understand that it is hard not to think in such a way! I struggled with it at times while I was serving on active duty and especially when I was in the region in 1986 and this was with the best Commander-In-Chief (Reagan) that I could imagine!

I do believe that at this time, our involvement with Iran are for good reasons, that President Trump is committed to victory and cares about the well-being of our service men and women who may find themselves over there. My main concern though is if things are not concluded by 2028, whoever proceeds President Trump (and I do pray it is either Vance or Rubio) may turn everything into an absolute "Charlie Foxtrot" just like they did in Vietnam, Somalia, Iraq, Afghaninstan, and so forth! The "Military Industrial Complex" is very real and my Lockheed 401K grew significantly following 9/11! My ex-wife got most

I was very idealistic believing I was there to fight communism, to "Kill Commies for Mommie and Ragheads for Ronnie" but foreign policies change and shift depending on which political party happens to be in power. I left active duty in 1991 and joined an active reserve unit for a while but when Clinton took office, I was quite worried about whether I would be able to obey his orders so I transferred to the inactive reserves and never went back! Long story short, you have to learn to be A-Political and realize that what you are doing is a "Job." It is not that you are loyal to a President or even the United States. The main place your loyalty needs to be is to the person who is fighting alongside you! I know that servicemen and women involve themselves both physically and emotionally and the top brass tries to paint a "rosy picture" of all the "good" they are doing and the people they are helping. Those who serve "in-country" are especially involved and is the reason why they serve multiple tours even after sustaining injuries that likely qualify them for medical retirement! I believe that these are the ones who end up getting really messed up and disallusioned.

Huk had a good idea about joining the Coast Guard. They are more law enforcement oriented (drug interdiction, maritime law, etc.) and aside from blowing up a "drug boat" ever so often, I don't see them being involved in any protracted combat deployments or whatever.

Interesting. Actually what John MacArthur says about the "Mahdi" sounds quite scary! If MacArthur is right I HOPE there will be a Pre-Trib Rapture!
