    In other news....

Despite those claiming her demise, Megyn Kelly's FOX program  averaged 2.52 million viewers in the first quarter, its most-watched quarter ever.* And for those critical of FOX in general for their overall "biased" reporting against Trump (as if),  for the first quarter, Fox News was the...

Sorry, can't help you with simple math. What I did say was the rules were set up to help a candidate win earlier. I've given you several links but you are apparently to lazy or otherwise to read them. The main issues are proportionality of delegates, limited number of debates, shortened primary...

I'm not sure how "my conventional wisdom" did anything to give us McCain or Romney as neither were my choice for the nominee, especially McCain. I must run in different republican circles. Must be the establishment. ;) But I think it's more with people who have an aversion to the messenger...

Oh I think the GOP has already given this election away. If you think Trump has a prayer of winning when 70% of REPUBLICAN women have a negative view of him I'd like to know how.  Yes, Hillary is a terrible candidate but a lot of her voters don't care about character.

Sorry, beg to differ. Romney delegates wrote the rules in 2012 because they dominated the rules committee because he dominated the delegates. Let's see who is on the rules committee. Now Trump likely won't control it because he likely won't have enough delegates. So sad, too bad. No...

The establishment is trying to destroy Cruz.

Well gee, refer to my post #35. and I was a day ahead of Politico.  :) I also said I have no idea what the rules committee will do and I don't. Each convention they, as representatives of the party and made up as a representation of the assigned delegates, make the rules. Way it works. He with...

Waah!!!! It should be fairly obvious but let me walk you through it: Each state automatically gets ten delegates each = Static amount Each state gets another 3 delegates per congressional district = Static amount Each state that cast its electoral votes (or a majority thereof) for the...

You could try to understand or do a little research of your own: https://www.fas.org/sgp/crs/misc/R42533.pdf http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2014/01/24/gop-adopts-changes-to-2016-presidential-primary-process/ http://frontloading.blogspot.com/2016/03/2016-republican-delegate-allocation_8.html

You should be more informed and less conspiratorial. I can't even speculate on what the rules committee will do. The primaries help in part to decide who will be on the rules committee.  ::) Why more delegates? The Republican Party allocates each state ten delegates, plus three for each...

A couple stories from Campbell University

What a way for the brother to honor his sister. Great story.

The establishment is trying to destroy Cruz.

The rule change in 2012 was to do two things really, (1) deny Ron Paul "causing trouble" when there was no way he could have possibly won and (2) had Romney won the election it would have virtually stopped a primary challenge against him. It was indeed short-sighted as, unless the rules...

Why doesn't Rafael Edward Cruz sue the National Enquirer?

You of all people pointing out one typo...which was already corrected before you posted again. Hahahahahahahahaha!

Oh, now you are at the level of quoting from Alex Jones' Infowars site.  LOLOL. Not sure which is more laughable, that or the Nat'l Enquirer. But Trump's boy Roger Stone does spend a lot of time on Alex Jones' Infowars program.  ::)

Why doesn't Rafael Edward Cruz sue the National Enquirer?

So was JFK "John" or "Jack"? What a stupid thing to make an issue of. As for a suit against the National Enquirer... 1. I haven't read the "article" but understand it was filled with words like "alleged" and "said to have". Words that would allow them to avoid a lawsuit. Also the "mistresses"...

The establishment is trying to destroy Cruz.

That's pretty misleading. Romney went to the convention with 431 delegates more than enough needed to win the nomination.  He was never in danger of not having enough delegates on the first vote to win. Because Romney had so many delegates they held sway in the rules committee which meets at the...

If at the convention he has the necessary amount of the delegates by the rules of the party he has chosen to  run with, then he wins.

To many it "does matter".  I agree with Rougue that we are a Constitutional Republic as we derive our rights from the constitution. True conservatism is the pursuit to hold to that foundation. From a few of our founding  fathers and the Constitution: Thomas  Jefferson: "All the powers of...

Ted Cruz isn't Abraham Lincoln. That's for sure. They called him "Honest Abe". I don't think anyone will be calling Trump, "Honest Don". You can't throw away the choice of the people. At this point Trump has only about a third of the GOP support. What about the choice of the other 2/3?
