About a dozen witnesses all claimed that the black man never pointed a gun at the police officer. The officer said he shot twice, the witnesses said he only shot once. When all the evidence was released the officer was telling the truth and the dozen witnesses all lied. The office did shoot twice, in fact the first bullet went into the barrel of the gun that all the witnesses claimed he never pointed at the officer.
All that to say this...witnesses can and do lie.

Which doesn't in any way justify jumping to conclusions and consequently rioting, all in the name of justice.
This does change the dynamic.aleshanee said:ok...... so, out of all those black male perpetrators.... how many of them were released without charges being filed?.... ??? .... and were any of them police officers or off duty federal agents?....... ???
aleshanee said:maybe it doesn;t make a difference... if your post was just a random out of the blue contribution...... but if you were answering or following up what i wrote then it does make a difference because i wasn;t referencing the liberal, God hating, ignorant media at all..... but rather an objective observer of the unrest in ferguson who was simply turning on the cameras and letting them run.....
and aren;t you one of those who says.... and rightly so.... that members of the clergy should be held to a higher standard on issues of morality?........ why then wouldn;t you want police officers to be held to a higher standards on issues of restraint... professionalism... and abuse of their power?...... we all hate crooked law enforcement officers....... but assuming the attitude that there is nothing we can do about it but keep our mouths shut and live... is no different than keeping quiet in a church were a pastor is a sexual predator in order to keep peace and not stir up trouble......
and is it really just dumb to fight it?....... wasn;t standing against wrongful use and abuse of power how this nation started?.......

Nothing like a good old riot with looting and destruction to achieve justice.

This is how social change happened through most of human history.
Just ask the english about 1776 or the French about 1789, the Tsar’s about 1905 or or the Shah about 1978. Unrest often leads to change. I just wonder how close we are as a nation to civil revolt.

did these "talks of riots".... come from the same source .... the mysterious.. "person from st louis" ..... who claimed a three year old white girl shot by stray bullets during a crime unrelated to the riots.. was actually "shot as a retaliation"..?... ???

Generally, however, the revolt is against the people responsible for the problems. Maybe I haven't been paying close enough attention,
but I don't get the impression the local businesses and local residents were responsible for Brown's death. In other words, this isn't about enacting social change. It's about spoiled rotten welfare recipients having fun destroying property and getting free stuff.
