I have blanked out quite a bit of the old forum where Marty was prominent. Was he a hyper-fundy, KJV, no pants on women kinda guy back then? I mean, before the affairs? 

Is this somebody we're s'posed to know? Cuz I never heard that name before.

I had to look it up myself and I'm a kind of IFB. He's the former President of Golden State Baptist College in Santa Clara, CA and is currently an assistant pastor at a church in Jacksonville, FL.

Thanks, I appreciate the info. Though I still don't get why he matters, why anyone cares. Even in IFB circles, sounds like almost a complete nobody.

He was president of a major IFB college in California. About a year ago, Sarah Jackson came forward and accused him of sexual misconduct. He resigned and then joins Immanuel Baptist Church with Greg Neal. Greg Neal is in the same boat as Giovanelli. Only difference is, statute of limitations made it impossible for Greg Neal to be put in jail. So now we got 2 sexual predators in one church acting like everything is fine. They host conferences and people come and act like nothing happened. Not only that Giovanelli starts bashing Sarah Jackson and her church online for being attention seekers.  Then these two bright minded godly individuals decide the best course of action is to start a Bible college of course. So now we are here. John Hamblin just announced on Twitter he is not going to one of the conferences at Greg Neal's church. Basically everything is starting to fall apart.

I'm not a big fan of Stevo but he sure told it like it is on that video, including the part about David Gibbs of Christian Law Association.  (He was talking about David Gibbs, Jr., not to be confused with his son and former law partner David Gibbs III who has left the Christian Law Association and has publicly repudiated his dad's "ministry" of covering up for IFB sexual predator clergy.  I don't understand why so many IFBs still regard David Gibbs Jr. as an infallible authority and put him up on their god shelf next to Jack Hyles, Ruckman and Riplinger.  Years ago I had to leave an IFB church in a hurry after committing the mortal sin of questioning a CLA model constitution that would abolish congregational rule and change it to Preacher Rule.

People don't realize what an important figure Gibbs Jr.'s son, David C. Gibbs III, is. He runs a very respectable law firm and was famous for the whole Terry Shiavo case which I applaud him for.

He was on Jack Trieber's staff when he was accused by a lady back east (she want to her pastor, who called Jack Trieber.  When it seemed that JT would not take action, the pastor out east went public. JT then dismissed him, and he came to Florida.  Tom Neal, that man of spiritual insight **sarcasm** defended him by attacking the woman who brought the accusation as well as the pastor that started this.
