And ate with a bunch of them, so that's right, no fellowship! SMH

Wonder if David ever regretted letting Amnon get close to his cousin Jonadab.
I don't know that I see any ranting and I am certainly not against "filtering". We guided our kids social interactions. I think the issue is that Tom tied it all to church and intended or not, came across in a very condescending way.
FWIW
My kids played little league but I went to every practice and game.
My kids hosted sleepovers because I would rather the friend be in my home instead of mine in theirs.
Our home was wide open to the neighbor kids. And almost all of them ended up coming to a church event as guests of our kids.
So you don't start with "if you want to be my friend it will have to happen at church". And if you are at church so much that you don't have time to make friends with the unsaved around you then there is probably too much church in your schedule.

You want to gloss over this also? You fundies love to paint this Jesus who wanted to having nothing to do with sinners and just accept worship from the "righteous".
Luke 5:32 I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent."

It allows for their extreme separation doctrine.

Also known as "sinful arrogant self-righteousness".

We do not however allow the unsaved to participate in the ordinances. There are things we with hold from them. T-Bone, do you allow those you assume to be unsaved at the Lords table or do you "invite them in so you don't appear to be an extreme fundy?" If you exclude them, aren't you guilty of what you accuse me of?
R-IFB, do you view the supper in Matthew 9:10 to be the same as the supper in Matthew 26:26-27?
BTW, the topic was about children, not adults.
The Lord excluded Judas. Paul told Corinth to exclude the one in open sin.T-Bone said:ItinerantPreacher said:T-Bone, R-IFB, nowhere did I say not to have a meal with an unsaved person, or a person not attending all the church services. I will answer the question you gave to me...I don't exclude anyone from the Lord's Table. I teach what the table is about then encourage each person to do what the Apostle Paul says, "let each person examine themselves, then let them eat..." If we truly believe that the table is the Lord's, not the local church or a denominations, then who ever belongs to The Lord is welcome at His table...that is between them and The Lord, not my place to figure out who should be excluded.

No, but that's not my point, I am saying that Jesus met with people where they were in their lives. Having to tell people to meet us on our terms is riddiculous and uncaring. They call it outreach for a reason; we go to people and meet them where they are. Tom's point is akin to saying " get your life right before you get saved"ItinerantPreacher said:T-Bone, R-IFB, nowhere did I say not to have a meal with an unsaved person, or a person not attending all the church services. I'm sure you know this already, but IB are not allowed to do this. As far as the FFF is concerned.
Now, non IB, are much more qualified, as far as the FFF is concerned.
If you didn't know it is uneducated and sinful to be dogmatic, as far as the FFF is concerned.
Wait, as far as the FFF is concerned, what is sinful? :-\

You're behind on your current events. Maybe you should take some time off, though, and learn English so we might have a clue about what you're saying. McDonalds can get on without you for a couple weeks.
