Convicting. Or Should Be.

My personal opinion is that there are some very high profile Democrats AND Republicans implicated in the report, hence the extreme hesitation by the presidents from both parties to release the beast.
And the sycophants on both sides continue to see the evil existing solely on the other side.

Maybe the expectation surrounding the list is way overblown. However when you measure the hatred the Dems have for Trump If there was incriminating evidence there it would be used against him. If they could get trump they’d gladly sacrifice a few Dems in the process.
As if there is no hate coming from the opposite side of the divide.

But, but , but ... policies.
“The chief danger of the 20th century will be religion without the Holy Spirit, Christianity without Christ, salvation without regeneration, heaven without hell, politics without God, and forgiveness without repentance.” Gen William Booth

“I look at whether the policies of the candidate are compatible essentially with the fundamental precepts of government as God ordained it. I believe in the distinction between separation of state, but that concept of separation of church and state has come to mean in the secular world the separation of the state from God where the government, particularly the federal government, has declared its independence from God. And at that point, its a revolution against heaven because it's God who ordains government. If I have any issue that determines my vote, its not the Trinity, its abortion.” R.C. Sproul

“I often hear it said, ‘Do not bring religion into politics.’ This is precisely where it ought to be brought, and set there in the face of all men as on a candlestick.” Charles Spurgeon

“He [Donald Trump] called me after the Sunday morning service and he was very gracious and said, ‘I just want to thank you for taking a stand. Church is essential, and I’m glad you’re doing what you’re doing,’ MacArthur recalled. The pastor then explained that he and the president “talked a little bit about why, certainly from a biblical standpoint, Christians could not vote Democratic.” “There’s no way that a Christian can affirm the slaughter of babies, homosexual activity, homosexual marriage, or any kind of gross immorality,” MacArthur asserted. MacArthur said he told Trump that abortion and LGBT matters “aren’t even political of us,” but rather “these things are biblical; these things are laid down by the Word of God.”

I don’t have any issue with you refusing to vote, but to slander Trump and any Christian who supports him as being the blind follower of a man, thereby tainting the gospel is a bald-faced lie.

Scott Jennings’s Epiphany

“The reflexive nature of his opposition — to hate and try to delegitimize him on everything he does, I think is terrible for America.”

I know of no Christians who blindly follow Donald Trump and defends everything he says or does. To accuse Christians of that is being dishonest. If anyone on here who believes the presidency is equivalent to a pastor, thereby forbidding one from supporting (and praying) for this man, can you tell us who was “pure” enough to obtain your vote? Please tell us so we can start digging up dirt and maybe (by God’s grace) connect him to the Epstein files while accusing any Christians publicly supporting him of being too stupid to know the difference between God’s kingdom and man’s kingdom. It wouldn’t matter if we could prove it or not because slander is the name of the game. I personally did not have to “hold my nose” when I voted for a flawed man who I believed would be the best President for our country.

I missed this from sub... He doesn't vote!?

If he refuses to vote, he needs to keep his pie hole SHUT!
I don't recall anyone setting aside their assumptions about me to ask.

Then tell us who you voted for so we can start doing searches on the internet to get some dirt on him. We don't want tators or mators, just an honest answer.

As my mother said many times when asked who she voted for; it's none of your d**n business.

If you are ashamed of who you voted for then quit shaming everyone else who voted differently than you.

Sub Sub for Campbell, and those unaffected by TDS for Morris.

Quit taking a fringe group and slandering all Christians as being part of that group. Tell us who you voted for or shut up. You have nothing constructive to say other than bad mouthing Donald Trump and anyone who supports him. Grow up! This was addressed to

subllibrm not Ekklesian.

I don't think he has ever said that.
That may be so, but he's not denying it either. I'll withhold a conclusion until he quits being elusive and reveals whether he votes or not when none of the candidates measures up to his moral standards.

As I have said many times, Donald Trump is not the problem, he's a symptom of the problem.

Go read the Tozer quote I posted and you'll see what the problem is.

I read it. Lots of interesting statements. Let's examine them for discussion.

Who (and how) is confusing politics or a party with the gospel?

Who (and how) is saying Jesus is taking sides with a political party or candidate? And how is "take sides with" defined?

Who (and how) is confusing American culture with Christianity?

How is Donald Trump guilty of these apparent generic charges of Tozer?
