Fundies get hung up on the stupidest things...

I used to do that.  Something in this particular software, though, will often hold your old posts in the queue.  I suggest you try your back button and see if it recovers your post.  It has worked for me here several times when I have accidentally navigated away to the wrong place in the midst of a post, or Firefox winked out.

Chrome has an extension called "Simple Form Recovery" which probably would have saved your post.

There used to be a much better (at least feature-wise) extension called "Lazarus" but it was buggy and slowed down browsing.

There's probably a similar extension for Firefox if that's what you use.  I don't know anything about IE, because I hate it and never use it.

EDIT: Lazarus is still available for Firefox.  I don't know if they've fixed the performance problems, but they probably fixed the bugs by now.

EDIT 2:  Lazarus is still available for Chrome.  I missed it on my first search.  It's a whole lot better than "Simple Form Recovery".

Yeah, I tried the back button, but invariably it takes me back in the process to where I am able to compose my reply again, but everything I typed is gone.

Yeah, I have Chrome, but use IE.  I may change to avoid the hassle.

Faith without works is dead.  You can't divorce faith from works (James 2:18).

But that has nothing to do with the conversation of pleasing God by those works. No one said works aren't part of faith, we are saying that you don't please God by those works but rather the faith from which those works flow.

So you think that I am attempting to please God devoid of faith in Him and/or His commands?

It's definitely worth it.  Lazarus saved me dozens of times.  I only uninstalled it because of the performance slowdown.  I haven't used it in years, but I just re-installed it on Chrome, and I'm anxious to see if it still gives me any trouble.

In your travels to apostasy, have you totally tossed away the scriptures, not just the KJV, but the whole idea of scriptural authority?

It seems to me that when someone leaves KJV onlyism that they are accused of traveling to apostasy by KJVO's.

KJV vs the modern versions in my opinion is a Romans 14 preference issue.

BTW, I visited once the church where Pate pastors and although the style of the church was not my preference the friendliness was well received and the message was biblical.

In your opinion.  But that is just your preference.

Yes it is a preference to go to church and have the Bible preached in context. I guess the alternative is to not have the bible preached or preached out of context?

But maybe you can tell about your visit to his church.

No, that is more a subject for the other thread on how much disparity can you take.  We see here that you can take a lot.  :D

Everything we say here is just our opinion about something.

That is often true, but aren't forums really just places for people to share their opinions?

Why, yes! That's precisely my point.  :-*

In your opinion, of course.

Be careful, Matt, I'd hate for their accusations to be washed away with truth and reality. It's more fun to watch them make judgement calls Next Level Church without ever making the first visit.  8)

Of course, if they can't make it in person they could always join us live on Sundays' at 10:15 or 11:30 AM via our online campus: http://www.livenextlevel.com/online-campus

Judgement calls are easy to make, but usually not totally accurate, I'll agree.
But you also made 'judgement calls'....with the same result.
