I agree with you that she is a good person, and a respectable forum member, but the vitriol that is being hurled in this latest fiasco is one-sided, all because of an unintended perceived slight regarding attire that made Catherine Bach an international sex symbol.

Again, ALAYMAN, you are a Pharisee, hypocrite, a liar, and a misogynist.  Those aren't attacks.  They're accurate descriptions.  They were accurate when Jesus used all those terms (except misogynist).  And they're accurate now.  You deserve the labels.  The shoe fits.

..............  This *is* called the "fighting" forum for a reason.  People don't generally come here to play nice.  And the posts that consist of prodding and poking come from all corners of the denominational spectrum.  The cals gig the free-willies.  The drinkers mock the abstentionists.  Freebirds and Pharisees lay the smack down on each other.  It's a daily thing that you can set you watch to.  It's been that way since the first iteration of the FFF, and me and Pavlov aren't even close to being alone.

Maybe you've been duped by a website that is in large part constructed to show the seedy under-belly of IFBdom (Hyles style).  Maybe people like to yank chains too much here and they know how to get a predictable response?  Either way, to assume that the caricatures that are painted here about Baptists are always universally true is a bit jaded, and na?ve.
